I think my husband is still in shock My sister-in-law called yesterday afternoon and told my husband that their uncle had passed away. I'm surprised that he lived for almost a year since we last saw him, he looked absolutely horrible. Anyway, he passed away on Wed Nov 1 and we just found out about it yesterday. They live in WV. I don't know it's really strange. His aunt's only lived about 1 mile if that from his uncle and they never went by to check on him bring him food or just to see how he was doing. My father-in-law died before his parents after both my husbands grandparents died my husband or his sisters did not get their father's share of the estate it was like he never existed. My husband nor any of his sisters let it bother them. But, I know this really bothers him. He died on Wed. they had he creamated and look at the obit I found in the newspaper. I've never seen an obit like this before. They are going to be having a memorial service in a couple of weeks so, maybe they will do more then. Jackie D. Cassity Jackie Darius “Jack” Cassity of Spruce Street, Mabscott, died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006, at his residence. He was 64 years of age. Arrangements by Melton Mortuary, Beckley. I was just wondering what you guys thought. I'm not trying to be petty, I just can't believe that no one contacted us, or any of his sisters before yesterday. My sister-in-law that called us even lives in the same town as they do and, they did not even contact her. She went by to see him more often than his sisters. She hadn't been by in a while because, frankly she's been sick as well and just hadn't been up to it. Anyway sorry for rambling. |
That looks more like a death notice, not obit.Sorry for your families loss. |
