Reviews on CHI Infusion Flat Iron Hey I was wondering what peoples experiences with a Farouk CHI Infusion ceramic flat iron is (I just bought the slim 1 inch model) were? I've heard great things and bad things. I've heard it works amazingly well and I've heard the plates fall off after a year and CHI customer service doesn't try to help and are overall horrible. Any personal experience? Thanks in advice Ladies:) |
I have a CHI flatiron, have had it for 2 years with no problems. |

It only takes me around 15 minutes to straighten my hair now, when it used to take me anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 hour and it still would be all wavy and frizzy. Now its so nice and shiny and very straight. I have had a chi for about 4 years. They are the best at making your hair straight. I don't think the newer models have such a problem with the plates falling out. I did have one that the plates came out of, but mine was still under the 1 year waranty and it was replaced for free. Make sure that if you do get any kind of straightner not to wrap the cord around it or it may cause the cord to short out. |
My daughter uses a flat iron on her hair. It was really drying out bad and our hair dresser purchased us the Paul Mitchell flat iron. It was $125.00 it has green ceramic on it and its great. really have noticed a difference. Also always us a spay to your hair before you use a flat iron to help it stay shinny and not to try out. icon has a good one. |

I love my CHI... I've only had it for two months, but now that I've used it I'll NEVER use anything else. Nothing has ever been able to get my hair as stick straight as is it now! |
I'd need to hook up to an electrical TOWER to straighten my hair - I would love straight hair but am stuck with nappy...so you could say I'm just Nappy & Happy :p :p :p cause I'm not gonna spend $125 on something that would laugh in my face lol |
Ha ha ha! Nappy and Happy! My hair is very curly and very thick and this flatiron does the trick! Although, I'm not as blessed as the other women here, it takes me over 30 minutes, even with the flat iron! If you lived close I'd let you borrow it...it's a miracle worker! :p |

We have 2 here and LOVE them. My daughter does her hair in about 20-25 minutes (her hair is so thick) it use to take her an hour or more. |

chi is the best. the rolls royce of flat irons. all the girls in my family have them. we have at least 10 in our family. they are the best. they flatten the hair fast and it looks salon styled. it's worth the money. mine and my niece's chi are both losing heat. they are not as hot as they once were. they are about 2 yrs old. we don't care because we want the pink chi turbo! |

Villette you would be so suprized at how straight they can get your hair. My sister has VERY curly hair and her hair gets totally straight. You can call some of the salons in your area and ask them if they have the chi straightener. If so ask for an appointment to get your hair straightened, I doubt it would cost much and then you can see, if you don't like it wash it out. |
yeah I have the chi turbo. Best money I ever spent! LOVE IT it used to take my at least an hour to straighten my hair, and it woudl still be fuzzy. But now it's cut the time to about 20-30 mins at the most. Dang I sound like an infomercial! Only 3 payments of $49.99 and you'll have your very own chi iron too! Act now, it's a limited offer.. HAHAHA I crack myself up. Ok bed time, wook is getting in bedtime mode.. yippieee!!! :D |
