Wish me luck:) Monday is my (driver license)road test. I'm so nervous its my first try and most people I know don't pass till like the 3rd. The bad part is if you fail you have to wait another 3 weeks to try again:eek: . Edit: Oh and if you have any tips for me i'd REAALLY appreciate it :) |
I am sure you will be fine.:) I don't think there is any advice I can give you that you probably don't already know; use your blinkers, follow the road signs, etc... :goodluck: |
:goodluck: The only suggestion I would offer is make sure you take a vehicle that you are VERY familiar with. Preferably the one that you have been practicing with. |

Just practice parralell parking as much as you can and stay calm. You will pass!! |
Good luck!!!! No advice, other than stay calm and don't worry! PS....many years ago, I lucked out w/ my driving test.....I didn't have to parallel park or anything major.......whew.....but, I am a very good driver! Thank goodness! |
my advice is when they say to turn ....put the blinker on immediatly. no matter how far from the turn. i almost failed by waiting too long. good luck sweetie. |

I failed when the guy told me to turn left when the light turned green and I did, but the problem was it was a green light and not a green arrow, that means I was suppose to wait for the other cars to go on the opposit side before I could turn. So, that would be my advise if its a green light and you need to turn wait for the cars on the opposite side to go first then turn, but if its a green arrow then your fine you can just turn, you don't have to wait for the other cars... GOOD LUCK :thumbup: You can do it...And try to keep your nerves down thats what got me...I knew I wasn't suppose to turn but did, because I was so darn nervous... |

Good luck! Just relax when you take it, but still be alert. If your nervous your more likely to mess up. A lot of the people I know passed the first time. Now Mclass licenses I believe are A LOT harder! |

most people pass the 1st time just maybe pratice somewhere like a dirt road or empty lot plenty before hand but i haven't ever known of anyone not passing . |
Read the book a couple of times to make sure you haven't missed anything. Alot of instructors will ask a question they know you won't know unless you are familiar with the book. Practice makes perfect. I passed the first time but I read the book 20 times and drove everywhere we went for atleast 2 months before the test. Good luck:) |
My son is taking his also, the first thing they look for in GA is if you check your mirrors and if you buckle up before starting the motor. :) |
when you get into the car, check mirrors, put on seatbelt.. when you do the 3 point turn and if you find you cant do it, do a 4 point turn, its better than hitting the curb... and when you parallel park, never hit the curb , just do it again if you have to..... when switching lanes, put blinker on and also look in rear view mirror and turn your head to the rear of the car.. always keep both hands on the wheel... stay calm and good luck |
Wear a Lowcut shirt - you should pass with flying colors - :p :p Oh yeah - study and don't be nervous ! Try to think of the person next to you as your friend and relax - I passed on my first try but I used to sneak my dads car all the time - so I had lots of practice.... |
Just remember the fisrt steps...mae sure the tester guy sees you check the mirrors before you start, even if they are adjusted already act like you are adjusting them just right for you, put on your seatbelt. Before you start take a breath and take your time. Don't speed. K Good luck! |
my advice would be to stay alert and be aware of your surroundings. when i took my drivers test the lady yelled at me because i didn't know what car she was talking about when i was at the stop sigh. just stay calm. i am sure you will do fine. i had to take my moms van after i learned to drive in my grandmas car. it was such a big difference and then the lady made me parrallel park in between two cars. everyone i had talked to said that you just had to do it with one car. i thought i was so going to fail because i had only tried it like 3 times before i took my test but it just kind of flowed all together and i passed. i was with my step dad and he thought i failed. i was so happy i got to prove everyone wrong! good luck and let us know how it goes. :animal36 |
