I have to show you guys my daughter's halloween costume for band...As most of you know Joy plays the pic in the UT band, so yesterday during practice they had here halloween party...Well she told me about 2 weeks ago she was going to be Eve and a friend was going to be Adam...She found a top on ebay that she thought would work...well it worked okay it was to triangles with leaves and to ropes...:eek: I told her no way....so we kinda made her something not so revealing and here is what I made her....Thought you might need some laughes....To be 21 again.....lol:D

oh how fun and MOM - you did a GREAT JOB on her costume - What a cool mom to make one like that ...my mom would have covered me to my knees in leaves and the minute I left the house - out would come my lawnmower !

V your too funny, Lexie is looking at me cause I am laughing so hard she thinks I am crazy....Hey what did you think about Adam...Joy emailed me the pics tonight and I about &*^& before I enlarged it to get a good look...I was like oh my....:p

I was TRYING to be mature and not gawk. Adam is well....Adam. ....too many clothes though - I wonder if he's still wearing them all ????

LOL - GOTCHA ! I'm sure they're fine - band members aren't THAT wild are they ?

No he has enough clothes just when I seen it looked like he didn't have enough on.....:p I don't know for sure if band is wild or not, its not high school so you can only imagine...I don't want to know....:eek:

Vi, I have 3 daughters, 21, 18, & 16, do ya know what those type of comments do to us?! Ahhhhhhhhhh..........

Band kids I have 2, they are more pratical jokers than anything else.

Kim, Tisha thinks your daughter is really pretty and looks like Ariel from The Little Mermaid.
As a mom..... Adam put on a shirt! At least he had his pants on!! lol

She looks very cute in her costume. As for the top she found on Ebay - that sounds just like what my daughter used to wear for Polynesian dance. Now, they at least cover a bra with the leafs!!! But, her bottoms are many times smaller with the skirt waist rolled way down and then the hips are shaking fierce!! The group learned a few years ago to wear regular panties or a swimsuit bottom under their skirts as one girl's skirt fell off and she was wearing a thong (this was during a recital :eek: )

Thats so funny, Joy always has on sofie shorts with the waist band rolled down one and little tops I think they are sport bras but she says no, but that little top she was going to wear lol, I told her if they had practice she would be marching and she would fall out, she said no mom, then I told her to prove it, so 5 min later she is acting like she is marching and guess what happens....so after we got this no thing finished she wanted to know if she should were shorts under it...so we got her old cheerleading shorts......I guess modesty is there first priority.....:p

Your daughter is beautiful and what a original idea for a costume. They all looked great! I wish we had some of the Texas sunshine here!

Sorry I forgot that most people think of UT as Texas, actually we live in Tennessee and we call the University UT...:rolleyes:
