free sample food ?
 
i wanna switch foods & since my boys can be picky i dont wanna buy bags of the foods so i was wondering if someone can send me a tiny bit of what your feeding ?:animal-pa
if its to much i understand :thumbup:

i signed up for some online but i usally never get them

If you email, most companies will send you samples. I had Chicken Noodle Soup send me a large amount of samples.

If you go to the websites some companies will mail you a coupon to try the food free.

Sorry I don't know what else to suggest the only company i've sent out for is Purina and they always send free stuff but its not the best dog food.

I feed mine Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lovers Soul (which, according to the bag, is actually an "all life stages" food) mixed with Canidae All Life Stages. If you want a sample of these 2 foods mixed together, let me know.

Word of Warning
 
Be careful as you try different dog foods. A drastic change in diet can cause gastric disturbances in small dawgs. Offer a tiny bit of the new food and if they like it, mix it with the old food until their systems get the new stuff in them. Then gradually add less of the old food until you have all new food. The process could take awhile but it is worth it.

Is there anywhere near you that sells Chicken Soup? Chicken Soup has started selling actual small sample bags of their food. You could go anywhere Chicken Soup is sold and I am sure they will have a sample bag you can buy. It is only like $3.00.

I don't think PetSmart sells Chicken Soup. Do you have a Pet Supplies Plus near? Or you can go here and it lists all the retailers.

Loki is on Canidae. Before I switched him I called them up and then sent out 4 or 5 sample bags. I just explained that he is SUPER sensitive so I needed enough to get him switched before I bought a whole big bag. Well it worked out and cleared up his diarrhea for good (he must have been allergic to something in the old food) and we've been loyal customers ever since. www.canidae.com

You can email them too. They are pretty prompt.

I found out the hard way or should I say my poor little girl found out the hard way. The new owners didn't give me any of her food and when we gave her $$$$ food, runs, runs,runs for several days until her little body was used to the new food. Now I introduce any new food a little at a time.....so much better that way and no runs!
