$900 for a 2 year old yorkie seems kinda high. She does look sad, I'm sure her next owner will love her much more. I also think that the lady would probably go down in price some. I hope an unethical breeder doesn't buy her :( and someone who's always wanted a tiny yorkie snatches her up to spoil her rotten. |
Poor thing.. she isn't that far from me. I would def. take her if I had the money.. sadly I don't. |

Just thought I'd enlighten ya all on the Craigs list thing and why its listed at $1..... Craigs list has a strict no Pet sales policy in their free ads section... only animals for free and those with reasonable adoption fees may be listed there at no charge to the listing party. So to put $1 would not throw up any red flags... And to not actually list a "price" in the ad also is not Violating any of the Craigs List rules... People can be Banned from using the site if they are caught Selling Dogs or other animals on the site... They Take the offence pretty seriously when they catch people.... So no hoax... Just some jerk bucking the system... |
Whats with the poses? The first pic looks like she is being forced down, the second one..I dont get and the third one she looks like she is in jail...poor baby girl..I hope someone here gets her... |
I actually called her because I would love to get her for my mom - it sounds like she's a very good pup - the owner sounds like she is just young and sounds like she's just in over her head. She said the pup is not Spayed - though has never been with a male or had a litter. Rarely barks, and is potty trained. No health defects that she's aware of, but I'd say that being so tiny there could be luxating patella or things like that...otherwise it sounds like a sweet dog whose owner just doesn't have time to have a puppy. I also have a co-worker out here that really wants a female yorkie, but my parents live too far to just go look at the dog - so if someone were willing to go take a look at the pup and see what kind of condition she's in, my parents *would* foster the pup until I get to New York for Thanksgiving and my boyfriend could fly back with her under the seat...though my folks would probably fall in love and I wouldn't be taking her anywhere ;-) Anyway - if someone lives close to Astoria and wanted to do it, let me know! |
I emailed her and she answered my email. She wants $850.00 for her. I just can't afford that plus the shipping costs too. I hope she gets a great home though. |
I, too, got a response from her via email. I just asked her where she was located but see from a post above she's in Astoria....if so, I have to check my local newspaper as there is ALWAYS an ad in it for all kinds of pups in Queens. If that is the same phone # they advertise Minpin pups, Pomeranian pups, Yorkie pups, Maltese pups and so on and so forth! Can't help but wonder if this is true if she tried to breed her and can't.....sad to think that way but you never know. |
