it was my dads funeral yesterday
 

we said goodbye to my beloved dad yesterday it was the hardest day of my life there were so many people there i was so proud of how loved he was, but can you believe that morning i fed my little yorkies early let them out in the yard to go to the loo after about 15 mins i realised Scrappy was missing panic striken i ran out calling his name nothing my kids ran out looking as did i and my hubby no sign was my day not going to be hard enough we sent the word out locally to passersby and printed out posters begging anyone who finds him to call this was at 9.00am by 1pm i had to leave to attend my Dads funeral my heart was breaking twice over thinking what if he is stolen or runover or cannot find his way home i came home after the funeral hoping in my heart he would be back but nothing then i saw the message light flashing on my phone there was a message a neighbour had found him i fell down crying my huband had to go fetch him i was a mess i think the whole day was too much , any way he was fine and i cuddled and kissed him , we think he chased a cat out of a small gap in the fence which has now been blocked but ladies what a day i was exhausted i have never cried so much in 24hrs.

your family...just reading your thread choked me up you cant believe.
thank god your baby was found... im so sorry about it all... i cant imagine your pain right now..im am sending you lots and lots of hugs and kisses.

You poor thing. You have gone through alot in such a short time.
I am so sorry about the loss of your father. I lost my father at age 54 and I know how you feel. Nothing can replace that kind of loss. Thank heavens your baby was found. Just take one day at a time. Memories carry us on.

I am so sorry. I'm sorry for the loss of your dad. My heart goes out to you. I lost my dad at the age of 12. No one can replace him. Think about the good times and memories you shared. It helps me. My mom would always tell me when I was little "Your daddy is watching over you". I believe its true. I have carried it with me through the years. Take one day at a time. I'm so glad you found your baby. Thinking of you.....

I'm so glad you found your furbaby. I don't know how you managed to handle your fathers funeral, and a missing furbaby. You must be one strong person!

I am so sorry for your loss. :sad: But I am so happy that you got your Yorkie back. I too lost my father, so I truly know how you feel and what your going thru. I was only 34 years old at the time. He passed away from cancer after a three year fight with that horrible disease. Three years ago I lost my mother to cancer also. Now at the age of 51, I have no living parents. So all of you who still have your parent/parents, treasure every moment you have with them. I just wanted to tell you that time does help lesson the pain. Now you have your family and your precious Yorkie:aimeeyork to help you get thru this.

Oh sweetie, I am so, so sorry about losing your Dad. I truely know what you are feeling, as I lost my mom a few years back and my Dad just passed in February. Im crying now as I write this because my heart just aches for you....Please be strong and know that your Dad is watching over you and it was probobly him who helped to find your furbaby. Time does help to heal your heartache, and just knowing that he is truely with you every day. All of the memories of him that you hold in your heart will be a comfort to you. I am so sorry you had such a terrible day on top of the heartwrenching avt of burying your Dad. I take care of my 86/87 year old parents and am grateful for every day I have with them. Each day they seem to be slipping further away from health so I know what you mean when you say enjoy them while you can.

I am so sorry you lost your dad. The father-daughter bond that is made when a little girl is born can never really be broken. I lost both of my parents to cancer, my mom in '91 and my dad in Dec., 04. It's horrible to feel so alone. And to worry about a lost furbaby at the same time, you are indeed a very strong woman. Take care of yourself, and God Peace be with you.
