Looking for TMX Tickle Me Elmo ok I have a 2 yr old who loves loves loves Elmo. Looking for the next TMX Elmo. They are online for like 40.00 but all the stores are sold out. If anyone can help please let me know. Can get it on ebay and some other places but they want way over 100.00. Would like to get it for her for Christmas. |

I've looked everywhere as well because my 16 month old loves Elmo! I finally caved & bought him off ebay cause I was sick of getting the run around from all the stores! Good luck finding one! I would call Toys R Us in your area & ask when their shipment comes in. |
is it called TMX Elmo? Is that what I would ask for in the store? I can check around, but there are so many, I wouldn't know the new from the old. |

I went through this last year with the Xbox 360... the trick to it is going into the stores and chatting up a manager or assistant manager and being very friendly and asking when the next shipment comes in. And then you camp out. I'm not kidding... my mom camped outside of Target in a tent in freezing rain and wind to get one. I also camped out at my Best Buy, but it wasn't raining.. just cold. If you don't live close enough to visit the store you can always try calling and asking. Good luck!! |

I will keep an eye out for you. I can not stand when something new comes out and people snatch up as many as they can to ebay them for quadruple the cost cause they know parents will do anything to get their kids the hot toy of the year. If I find any I will buy them all up and sell them for whaty I paid to whome ever needs one. I stayed out in line all night for my sons xbox last year as well and half the people in line with me were just gonna sell them and wait till the spring for their own :mad:. What nice morals these people have during the season of giving :mad: |

i have seen some sold for like 300 on like craigslist.org thats what alot of greedy people did, they bought like 10+ and then they are bound to make lots of profit from people who want those bad.... i just hope u get one, even though its going to be like the rest of the toys that cost afortune weeks after xmas they end up where ...in the toybox never used again |

what was the normal price of these ELmo's ? I had the opportunity to get one but since I dont have kids I didn't.... but I think at the time they were going for like $20 or something like that? |
My sister got "inside" info that our local Wal-Mart was getting 6 in the store a couple of weeks ago yet she didn't inform me (my boys are older) as she didn't think I'd want one - she got one for our mother. If she had told me, I would have been at the store at 6:00 that morning and gladly gotten one for you. I keep looking but still no luck:( I am going down to visit family in the greater New Orleans area next week-end and I'll check there. Please post a message and let me know if you've already gotten one - if not, and I can find it there, I'll get it and ship it overnight. |
Well i just wanted to chime in and say it's not just the people on ebay that sell this stuff for ridiculous prices i mean honestly if people are willing to buy the stuff for that amount of money then i think the people who are selling the are smart but it is the manufacturer who make this a problem it's all about hype they limit the supply so we all freak out and go crazy trying to get it. Just like every other year there is always the one item that is huge it's ridiculous and frankly i'm sick of all the people who get injured waiting for some of these items like the play station 3 people getting trampled and mugged where is their sense of morals to do that to someone i honestly think it's great if you can make money off something as long as you didn't hurt someone to get it i'm just tired of it having to come to that |
I can do better than that my son is selling 3 brand new in box never opened for 55 plus 19.95 shipping & handling...I tried to talk him down but thats as far as I could get him so if anyone wants one let me know...He wants to use paypal for paying...I tried guys.....:) |
If you really want one I might get it for cost, I had to pay 50 for mine from him...lol these kids...but he did stand in line for it and all that good stuff...:) |
