Any ideas 3 Attachment(s) We were at the park a few weeks and I just happened to have my camera with me when, I saw this. Does anyone know what it may be? I'm sure it's some type of caterpillar. I've never see one like this before. There is also a praying mantis there. Not sure if you can see it or not. |
I'm not sure, but I think that is the one that turns into a moth or butterfuly. It's been awhile, so I'm not sure. |

I wanted to say inchworm but catapiller comes to mind and yes - i skipped that class too - My uncle is a big bug expert - he'd know but he has no computer so I can't ask him - |
kinda looks like a cactus! |
I think you have yourself a Hickory Horned Devil which will turn into a Royal Walnut Moth. Nope, I didn't really know that off the top of my head, I found it on the net.:D |

WOW! I'm impressed! lol!! I was just going to say a green worm! don't like bugs of any kind!!! ewwwww. |
Oh, forgot to add, it's extremely ferocious looking, but totally harmless. The spikes will pick you, but won't break the skin. I love it when I sound like I know what I'm talking about.:D I really like the green worm theory, tho, simple, yet to the point. A perfect explanation. :lol tears |
I've seen those a few times! I think they're scary because they're all spikey!!! looks pretty fat! about to be a butterfly! yay! |
