?Could My Guardian Angel be a Yorkie? What a frightening thing happened this morning to me, unbelievable, so fast and I do believe in Guardian Angels, I think mine today was Cassie. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This morning after I hiked up our driveway to put trash in the road dumpster, on my way back down our driveway, suddenly there was a large bird with another large bird (a hawk) in flight about three feet behind it, headed straight to my face. I quickly put my hands to my face peaking between my fingers, Jack said they were within a foot from my face when the quail veered to the left and the hawk thankfully veered behind it. The sound was so loud the squaking and the noise from their wings, actually I can still hear them as I am typing about this happening. Jack said the hawk had his claws outstretched and were so long and horrible. I didn't know that the large bird chaser was a hawk till afterwards and Jack told me. He soon said that my Guardian Angel was sure watching over me. It has been 11 months today since our Cassie left us, I still feel her presence about me every day. Could my guardian angel be our Cassie, I believe she is. Kind regards, Patti ~~Baby Blessing~~ |
What a frightening thing to have happen to you! Hawks are a danger around here too. One was actually circling over Ruby one day. When I noticed I snatched her up, came inside and was shaking for an hour over that ordeal! Then I had several people tell me they had heard stories of hawks catching dogs. Needless to say we are much more careful outside now. |
Patti, So glad that the hawk veered off and missed you! How frightening that must have been for you! And yes, I believe in guardian angels and I have no doubt that your precious Cassie is now watching over and protecting you and Jack. |

How scary for you and for Jack watching all of this. I am so glad you are ok. I absolutely believe in Guardian Angels and Cassie is most certainly watching out for you. |
So happy to hear you are okay. I believe that a Guardian Angel was looking out for you. I'm sure Cassie is always watching over you. :D ~Marly |
Oh Patti! I do believe that your beloved Cassie is watching over you! How wonderful! I am so glad that no one got hurt! I read that most animals, when they are hunting, they are just locked on one thing....their prey in front of them. That poor Quail was probably so scared...I am glad it swerved around you. Hawks are all over here too! We hear them all the time......a few months ago, we watched two babies learning to fly.....it was pretty neat....they are pretty birds, but dangerous to our little furbabies! |
OMG...I am so glad that you are okay. Hawks can be very frightening....we had a similar incident happen to us on a recent trip to Florida.... My fiance was out jogging and was running along a bike path when a hawk swooped down towards his head and grazed the top of it with his/her talons. My fiance has salt and pepper curly hair and we guessed that the hawk thought he was a small grey animal when viewed from up above. I am super careful when out with Vivi because hawks will try to carry away a small dog and we have a large seasonal hawk population where I live in NJ. Your guardian angel yorkie saved your face from a terrible accident. |
ohhh my gosh! how scary for you! It sure sounds like you have an angel watching over you! |
It sounds like Cassie will always be watching over you and Jack. What better guardian angel could you have than little Cassie. So glad you are ok. |
I definately believe she is What a long long day this has been, not much sleep last night. Another incident this morning, after working in the yard, I went to sit down to rest for a bit, a pretty dove flew above my head and landed on the top of the tail gate of our truck in the driveway, I started talking to it and it stayed right there I went all the way up to it, I almost felt like it would like for me to touch it but I didn't, it kept turning its head as if liked my talking to it. Then it flew up into the silk tree. Such beautiful red eyes it had. Hopefully tonight will be a restful sleepy nite, cause last night sure wasn't. Thanks to those that pm'd me and also posted. It really is scarey, guess one never knows what can happen when we least expect it. Lavenia so glad your financee was okay. |
Hawks are very huge and dangerous. You can see why it would be nothing for them to pick up a yorkie and fly off with it. I'm glad you are OK. I believe I would have hit the ground and covered mffy head. LOL |
