I wanted to share some pictures of some clouds before/after a storm we had a few nights ago.......we had about 4 storms move through in one day/night. It was pretty crazy, but no damage anywhere.

Picture 1: That morning the sunrise - so pretty, no one would have thought a nice morning would become so stormy

Picture 2: Strange and scary looking cloud coming our way

Picture 3: Same cloud - different shot

I sized the pictures small, so they wouldn't take too long to load. The weather man had said what caused the cloud to look the way it did, but I didn't hear it....my parents were telling me about it. Scary looking, I think!

Thanks! I swear, I was born with a camera in my hand because I have 4 cameras and I always have to have one close by......I am surprised they turned out half way decent....you just never know when you take a picture of the sky.

I think the weather guy mentioned that the humid air was being pushed up or something.....therefore, causing the odd shape......very strange.....couldn't resist taking a picture (of course, from the safety of my front porch).

The lightening was horrible that day! In fact, the storms came up so fast, 2 boaters on a nearby lake were killed by lightening - they had just put in that morning (pretty morning) and the lightening started, so they were handing back to shore when they were hit.......very sad!

It was an amazing day in the sky, from the nice sunrise to the nice sunset! What a day!

Girl - those are AWESOME ~!! It must have been just too cool to see in person - we can never do that justice with a picture - but you sure did come close !!

Fantastic pictures.. Love watching the sunrise and sunset, have taken many pictures of them. Scary storm clouds though.:coolsmile
