Spider. :( There's a spider in my room. and it's freaky looking. It was there last night too!! I was chatting with some friends on AIM last night and I see this spider sitting on my wall. I didn't think much of it until I looked over and it was gone. That's when I decided to abandon the room. I ran downstairs and slept on the couch. I didn't go back in my room all day. Now tonight I was talking to my friends again and they were like, "go back in your room! the spiders gone by now!" So, slowly but surely, I got back in my room. and I got comfortable. and I really believed that our friend Charolette was gone. I was listening to a song and I saw movement. I looked up and there was the stupid spider. Now I'm downstairs again. I hate spiders. Wanna know the best part? It looks, to me anyway, like a Brown Recluse (sp) spider. Which are pretty dangerous. Is anyone else here afraid of spiders, or am I just insane? :rolleyes: |
YUCK!! I hate spiders too. Especially black widows. If I see one of those I freak. :eek: Have you seen those pictures that have been circulating on the net about the recluse's bite. OK now I'm done talking about damn spiders I won't be able to sleep! :confuse8: |
I HATE spiders!! I have bit of a phobia of spiders. They are so creepy and disgusting. So the other night I was in my bed trying to sleep and all the sudden I feel something on my arm. I look over and here is this ugly white spider crawling on my arm and then climbing up its web that happened to be on top of my bed post.:eek: I totally freaked out and there was no way I was going to sleep in the same room with a spider. So I got someone to kill it for me.:D Usually when there is a spider, mosquito, or any bug, I just call my cat. She loves all bugs including spiders. She catches them and then she will eat them. She is very good at and won't give up until she has caught it. So I never have to worry about killing them and she keeps the bugs away. I love my cat and I don't know what I would do without her and her bug killing capabilities!!!:cat: |
I REALL HATE spiders!!:eek: I make my kids paranoid also - I won't even let them play in the unfinished side of our basement!! My sister was bitten by a brown recluse :eek: and went into toxic shock and her kidneys shut down and she came pretty close to dying...it was very hard to recover from!! Spiders just FREAK me out!!:eek: |
smash it then you don't have to be afraid anymore?? or oyu could get a spray to put out to maybe do away with it? |
My 21 year old dtr is terrified of them, SHe has called me when I was 1/2 hour from home saying you have to come right home. Scared me to death. Then she says theres a giant spider in my room!!! I could have killed her for scaring me over a spider. At least 1 a week sshe freaks out over a bug!! |
I am terrified of spiders, I have been known to suck them up with the vacuum and leave it on for hours and then have someone else change the bag. Living in the country we seem to grow them big and ugly.. I do understand your fear of them..............:eek: |
Yuck spiders are the worst...best thing to do is kill it so you know its gone and don't have to worry. If it is not eliminated I have to leave also. I am Terrified of big hairy ugly spiders. |

spiders give me the heebeejeebees. Yikes!!! I do the vac trick too. Right now I have one nesting in the light above my front door. My daughter stands outside and screams for me to open the door then runs in. :D |
