when you give up (basically like i did ) it will find you . problem is once you get to that point your really skittish wary of "love"

Oh boy, did I know the feeling! My relationship with my ex fiance ended after 2 years and I was pretty much thinking all hope was gone. Well, less than a month later I went with a friend to have a girls weekend out in one of the cities and met my husband. First person I spoke to when I walked into my friend's friends' apartment and last person I have been or will ever be with. I was so NOT looking. I was actually trying to regain my independence, but there he was and there was no turning back. We will celebrate our 4 year anniversary at the end of this month ;)

You will find him, he is out there for you too!

when you not looking, it will find you...after having two long bs relationships, I had finally given up, would much rather be alone and I had finally excepted that I was going to be alone and it was better that way....then I met my bf at a wake, none the less, who would of ever thought of meeting someone at a wake and 1 1/2 years later we are very happy been living together from the very begining and things couldn't be better with us....enjoy your life....it will come

You need to trust that where you are in life is where you need to be. Ask God what his plans are for you. it might be that you need to accomplish something else first. Some times, you cannot get to where you are to where you want to be, you have to go somewhere else first.

Don't ruh it. Enjoy being single. Marriage lasts a LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time. Well it should anyway.

You just need to focus on being the best that you can be, and everything will fall into place.

BTW I give this same advice to my daughters.

Women get so wrapped up in trying to be someone's wife, that they forget to enjoy just being themselves.

Also it is important to go into a relationship as a whole person, not half a person looking for their other half. that is why you need yto focus on being all that you can be.

Sorry for the lecture. If I had it to do over, I probably would not listen to this advice, but in hindsite, it is good advice.

Don't give up girl...we singles gotta stick together! :) Love is a very hard lesson isn't it! I know what you mean about those lawyer types. Recently I just went on a date with a lawyer one of my co-workers set me up with. I thought it went well and he seemed nice although I have to admit not my type. Turns out he must not have thought it went that well and didn't even bother with any formal "thanks yeah your nice but not my type" quotes. I don't get it are they hiding... I have a couple of friends that thought it would be nice to all get married at once. yeah needless to say they don't even bother asking me out as they know I would feel way uncomfortable being the only single at the table amidst many couples. oooh well I guess it will happen when it happens. I just wonder if there may be any single spots that are good for us loners :)

I totally understand what you are saying JeanieK, I don't necessarily want a husband...just a nice guy that really loves me and wants to share quality time cuddling...if not Kylie will have to suffer with her mommies hugs and kisses ;)
