Need to find a home for a white schnauzer
 
I need to find Barnum (a white schnauzer male) a home, he is about 1-1.5 years old. He belongs to a family member of mine and they have new baby twins so they dont have time to properly care for Barnum and so he is just left outside all day:(. I went over and got him today to give him a bath and groom him. He is quite the sweetie. I'd keep him myself but Penny & Tinkerbell are already throwing a huge fit and I dont think I can handle 4 dogs. Now barnum has been diagnosed with some sort of liver diesese, the vet said there is nothing that can be done for it and he is in no pain, I dont know the exact details about it but I will try to find out more. Barnum is probobly 20lbs Im not really sure. If anyone is interested or knows anyone looking for a sweet male dog companion please let me know. Barnum needs a loving home with people that will spend time with him, that would make him the happiest dog in the world!

OOOOHHHH he's so cute!!!! I wish I can take him but Max will probably have a fit like Penny and Tinkerbell. He was extremely upset when we brought Abbie home....such a territorial little guy :rolleyes:

My aunt is willing to help find him a good home... She thinks she might know of a few people who might want him..She is in Tx as well. Do you have any other info on him? Is he going to die from this disease?.. Any medication he needs??

Okay i was wrong, it is not a liver disease, it is something wrong with his kidneys and no he isnt on medications. Im sorry I misunderstood and got it all wrong. When they took him to get him neutered thats how they found the problem with his kidney. But they were told by the vet that there is nothing that can be done about it and he is not in any pain and that it could cause him to have a shorter lifespan or he could live a long life. I love my family, but I honestly dont think they go to a very good vet so I would want to have a better vet check it out. Barnum has been out my house for 3 days now and he really is a sweet dog. He is a bit hyper but he has never been properly trained to "sit" "stay" or any of that stuff so he gets a bit excited and wants to jump all over me. I think its becasue no one ever gives him any attention though. They never give him toys or anything so when I gave him a toy and a bullystick he was just the happiest dog in the world, lol.

Oh, poor Barnum!!!! I hope you find him a good home with people that will love and spoil him. I will keep an ear out on if anyone is looking to adopt a furbaby.

Ok, I sent the info you gave me to my aunt... so hopefully she will tell me soon, if she has found a good forever home or not. I really hope she dose, he is too cute not to be spoiled rotten for the rest of his life!

Is he a Snautzer/Bichon mix? He looks exactly like my friends dog. Very cute. I hope he finds a good home...

he is supposed to be a pure breed white minature snauzer. He is really curly and I dont know much about the breed. I am bathing him myslef so he doesnt have the "breed standard cut". I havent trimmed him at all actually since Ive had him at my house. And the people that own him havent had him groomed in a while so I know its been months since his last haircut. I think thats why he looks so fluffy and curly, but I think its really cute :p

He's so adorable! My family won't let me have any more furkids, but if I could have him, I would! I have a huge soft spot for lil' boy furbabies!:p
