I agree with everyone here. HOA's are such a**holes. For a while we had 4 people living in our house, but only a 3 car garage. That said, someone had to park on the street. That didn't fly with our HOA. $250 fine for parking on the street. Such crap!

your cracking me up lol I love your remarks but I don't blame you one bit! you should keep calling them over and over and over till they put you on the phone with someone who can actually make some intellegent changes.

I dont have a HOA but the city still says we have to put our trash out of view and left us a notice once. I dont care, I dont. It is gross to have it in the garage and our houses in our neighboorhood are really small with only one car garages and one car driveways, I dont have room for the big trash bin and the big recycle bin in my garage.

Well, some already DON'T allow dogs, so people probably aren't far down the list of don't haves!:D

I'm sorry you're going through all of this! I HATE HOA's. You have to pay them every month and then they end up charging you for really dumb stuff. I thought the whole point of owning your own house is so that you can make the rules! My friend was under an HOA and they had just moved, so she put all of the boxes in the garage until she could get to them. Well, the garage door somehow automatically opened and her neighbor called the HOA on her because they are not allowed to use their garage to store stuff! That's the dumbest rule I've ever heard! It's her garage, she should be able to do what she wants with it. I will NEVER move into a place with an HOA. If YOU"RE the one paying for an HOA then you AND the neighbors should HAVe the right to VOTE on the rules!

Already thought of! Atleast I was going to leave Rocky's poo poo on one of their door steps :) (Rocky's really not happy about this either, when I was talking to my bf about it Rocky was barking, so the convo went like this:
Rocky: ARF
Me: I know Rocky, but what can we do?
Rocky: ARF ARF BARK!
Me: Would you like to talk to the association:
Rocky: Hmmm....arf

My city allows 2dogs per house. Our house isn't that big (1700sq feet) So it's not like we have room for a lot (maybe 2 small ones and a big one). But they also require dog licenses ($5). I really wasn't worried about this, but when we go to the vet I don't know if they would report it to the city if we had more than 2 dogs.
