Darn!! Frustrating US websites!
 
Sorry to sound grumpy but I want so badly to order a Maxx New York handbag and the only sites that have it available won't ship to Canada. I can charge it to my credit card no problem but they won't ship it to me here. I would have to send it to someone in the states and have them reroute it to me. Does anyone have any ideas? I really want this bag (I have a thing about handbags lol.) :)

What state is it shipping from? I know that there are some fees assessed at the border. That is probably why you are having trouble.

Did you try QVC? They have Maxx handbags and ship to Canada. ( I have a thing for watches)

:) Thanks for responding. I'm not sure what state it's from, the website is Zappos.com. I've checked QVC and the one they have is not quite the same and is not available in the same colour. Zappos just says that at this time they do not ship to Canada. They offer free shipping with the states though. So I think the only way I could do it would be to send it to someone in the US and then have them reship it to me in Alberta. I would be glad to pay the shipping of course. :)

You can ship it to me if you want and I'll reroute it, considering it's not some major ordeal to do so. I'm in Washington State, as you can probably tell my avatar. :)

I live near the Canada/US border so when I order something I just use my name and the address of a shipping company that's just across the border. For a $5.00 charge, they'll accept your delivery and hold it for you till you pick it up. It's an excellent deal.
I still sometimes have to pay duty bringing things into Canada, but not always.
If you'd like some help with your delivery, let me know. I can pick it up for you and mail it to Alberta. Just let me know.
