Ruining good dogs I was browsing this morning and came across this, I thought it was a joke at first. Nope, no dog is safe any more. How on earth can you ruin a already good dog? Make it part of the new "Designer Dog" breeds. This makes me sick! I own a rottie and they are loyal, loving, laid back and easy to train. They are already the whole package! No improvements needed! But I love my yorkies just as the same! Why on earth anyone would want to demean them is beyond me. The Roodle The Roodle part 2 |
The only possible explanation I can think of is adding the poodle would make them less allergenic. It is odd how every single breed is getting mixed with poodles. |
because they want to make money:mad: well if theres 2 breeds of dog i would never think of putting together its them 2, i thought poodles could be quite snappy so breeding them in to a very large breed with the power of a rottie is just stupid. what happened to the days when a breed like that was just called a cross and didnt make hardly any money? poor dogs, they will just keep breeding and breeding these so called new breeds untill theres no normal breeds left and we are left with loads of crosses with health problems that no one wants. |
As it is desirable to have your breeding female be larger than your male - how do they justify a mini poodle mom with a Rot dad???? |
i think they are ugly but they still deserve good homes ,poor dogs the puppys can't help it .those people shouldn't cross breed dogs just to try and make some money off a "new" breed! i'm sure some people will love them though! i also have a rottie who is well over 100lbs and i couldn't see breeding a big dog with a smaller dog like that! not to offend anyone with my post but that's jmho. |
What are they thinking!!!!! Why in the world would they want to do that!! The rotties are so beautiful just the way they are and now some greedy BYB wants to ruin this beautiful breed. Wht dont these so called breeders leave things be. |
Exactly! They might be hypoallergenic, but there is a butt load of new problems by mixing two VERY different breeds! I love my rottie, I would never change him for anything. Mixing it to a poodle is wrong, not to mention they guy that is breeding them in AU, is doing a controlled and planned breeding. Still not right, but what about Joe and Jane that decide to make a buck of some random rott and poodle? The results will be not nearly as controlled, thus ruining a good dog and adding to the over populated problem. There is a breed for every personality, do your research and you will find the perfect one. I don't think crossing breeds that are established is the way to go. And yes poodles are snappy! Bruno and no rottie I have ever owned has ever been aggresive. Even when he plays he sounds like a junk-yard dog, even though he's not. I would not want to test him though, he's big and could do damage, if provoked. Mixing a snappy dog, with a dog that has incredible bite force= Bad Idea. |
mix 1 Attachment(s) my rottie lexus & princess when she was a baby. does it say how much they sale those roodles for? |
This is my Bruno, not his best pic, but I love him anyway. Lexus is pretty! I like her and so is Princess, just adorable. Didn't find any pricing on them, I think its still pretty new. I did however find another name for them "Rottle". You can bet they probably go for a few hundred dollars, just like all the other mutts. |
This is so sad. :( At least it wasn't a male Rotti bred to a tiny female Poodle!! :( But you never know with this whole teacup drama ... maybe some idiot will use a tiny mama to produce a TEACUP Roodle.  :( |
I did find a price on them, ready? $2,000.00!!! For a MUTT!! A large, overly hairy mutt, with potentially serious behavioral problems. Yeah, for $2,000.00 that dog better be real special. |

I hate it when people breed two entirely different breeds, make up some name for them and then try to act as if they are a new "Breed." |
Witchipoo?? What the heck is a Witchipoo??   |
