yipee the dog whisperer! Oh I am so excited, partner put a new tv ariel up in the loft today and we can now pick up sky travel channel, so for tonight for the first time i watched the dog whisperer,it was so good. It was the episode with Josh the little white dog, that the lady rescued from death row at the pound. Caesar grommed him and he bit him! its probablly a repeat and you guys will probablly have seen it, but anyway im chuffed that after hearing so much about this show i have at last seen it!! lol :D |
I like the dog whisperer and have always enjoyed his shows. Except the other day I was watching and there was an episode about this couple with a little tiny dog that they kept in an apartment..dressed up..took in the car and out to restaurants etc..The dog whisperer said..Stop treating this dog like a child..I slumped in my chair just a little.. dw)This is a dog. me)I quickly glanced at Bob and sure enough, yep, hes a dog. dw)Your dressing this dog up for you not for the dog. me)But the shirt looks good on him I thought..slumping further. dw)Your trying to fulfill something in yourself instead of letting this dog be a dog. me)Now he surely doesnt know me or Bob.. But I promptly turned off the tv and sat up right and took Bob outside to play. What does that man know?;) ;) ;) |
Aww it always sucks when dog experts say not to treat them like babies, dont spoil them, dont dress them up, but it just goes in one ear and out the other! lol :) |
Heh, you know what, it probably IS better to treat animals like animals, and not babies, and not spoil them. But it's so much fun. ;) And let's face it, the only reason we HAVE pets is because, on whatever level, they fulfill some sort of need in us, whether it be nurturing, companionship, unconditional love, fun and play, or whatever. I do think it's absolutely absurd to dress animals up. But I do it anyway. ;) ;) ;) As long as they don't hate it, and ARE still allowed to fulfull all their doggies instincts and activities.....where's the harm?! Ceasar is just a "big dog" kinda guy. ;) |
