IMMM SOOO scared!!! Last february ( 2005) so I guess not last, but the last before that I had one and half of the other thyroid removed, due to nodules that were thought to be cancerous. ( end the end they were begnin but HUGE) well, I went to the doctor yesterday and not only am I having hormone problems due to no thyroid, I have an enlarged ovary and a lump on my right breast. I am soooo scared. my grandma had breast cancer. I have to go in for a internal ultrasound and a mammogram. I am sooooo scared. I dont know that emotionally I can go through this rollercoaster again!!! |
OH No! Im so sorry. Everything will be fine. YOu and your family are in my prayers! :) |
I'm so sorry to hear about this. I know how scared you must be because I've had thyroid problems for a couple of years now. I have it under control with hormone pills. I have an enlarged thyroid and luckily the biopsy determined it was benign and I don't have to worry about it. I always worry for the future if this is going to be something more. Don't worry, I'm sure everything will be alright. Don't freak yourself out, because that's what I tend to do. Keep your head up. |
Saying prayers that all is ok. |
thanks all. im just worried i have some kind of female cancer |
I hope everything turns back normal. You're in my prayers. |
I'm so sorry that you are going through this - it is extremely stressful to be faced with such uncertainty. I can't say that everything will be OK, because I just don't know that - but I can say that you CAN get through it. Try to take some deep breaths everytime you feel panicked - it WILL help. When you are panicky, you are releasing stress hormones, and you just don't need anymore hormones running around creating havoc right now. So, as hard as it may be, try to stay calm. Use any strategy that you can, think of something else, get busy to take your mind off it, exercise, deep breathing, anything to help you relax. That's the best thing that you can do for your body right now, that and taking care of yourself, eating well, sleeping, and stay as calm as possible. I know that sounds ridiculous - but it is true. Again, I'm so sorry that you have to go through this. Take care of yourself and let us know how you are doing. |
I will pray for you. Best wishes. |
Sweetie be positve, we will all be praying for you. |

I know you must be scared! I would be too. But please remember the healing powers of a positive attitude and laughter. Please keep us updated on your progress. sending hugs :ghug: to you and prayers Upward |
So sorry! Praying everything comes back negative for you. You are much too young to have such big worries. Relaxation is important at a time like this and perhaps someone could instruct you on yoga. I wish you well. |
You poor dear! *HUGGGG* The waiting is so hard and so worrisome! I hope and pray you will find good news once you've had your tests. I know it's easier said than done, but, as others have said, try to find a way to relax and get your mind off of it! I'll be praying for you! Maddie sends lots of kisses. |
