I am having a HORRIBLE day!!
 

Well... first off, I have only had about four hours of sleep. I couldn't sleep last night, and my cat kept me up....

I had a job interview today. I was very, very excited because where I live, it is very hard to find a job.. cause there's NOTHING here! So, my husband and I agreed that when I get a job, and after I pay off our credit card, that he would let me get my first yorkie! :aimeeyork
So, I was ready to go! I got up at 8am... got all ready and left. I was like 2 minutes away from the place, when I went to go on a green light, and my car just revved up really loud and wouldn't move. So here I am, broke down in the middle of the road. I immediately knew it was something to do with the transmission. My previous car (mazda 626, don't ever buy one!) had really bad transmission problems. I ended up having to pay $1600 into the car for a new transmission, and it still wouldn't work! So I called my husband to come get me, and he had to leave work, his sergeant was mad... and I called a towing company, which costed us $85 dollars... towed the car to a transmission place. They told us there, that something was broke in my transmission... and that it would cost us between $1200-$1400!!! I was in shock. This is really really bad timing for something like this to happen. I called the lady at the job and she said it would be fine for me to just come in when my car is ready, which is good, but I just feel bad about this.

So here I am at home.... no car.... no job. And me and my husband are gonna have no money for awhile.

Just had to vent. But I hope everyone else's day is going better than mine.

I know one thing, once I finally do get a yorkie, I am going to look back at all the trouble I went through to get her, and I will love her even more because of all of this....

No, I did not make it to the job interview... but I was so close I could of walked, but I couldn't of just left my car in the middle of the road. I really, really hope I still get this job though... the lady sounded really understanding though.

Sorry to hear that you are having such a bad day, and I sincerely hope that you get the job you are going to interview for.

Once you have your fur baby, you will look back on this day and laugh.

I am so sorry you are having such a rotten day. As for job, money problems and car problems...been there, done that. I know how awful it feels when you feel like you just can't get a break. I had this one car that caused so many problems...I paid so much to get it fixed time and time again and the last time it broke down I was DONE! I had to have someone cosign for me to get a brand new car, and I was so broke after that, but I was happy to know that I wouldn't have car problems anymore.

I hope you are able to get this job. Hang in there. If it weren't for the rain, we wouldn't appreciate the sun so much, know what I mean?

Thank you all so much.. All your posts made me feel so much better! I hope things do get better for my husband and I. It just seems like lately, we've had the worst of luck... and nothing works out for us. But, I can do nothing but keep trying..so...

But thank you all... I do feel better already. I will let you guys know if I get the job or not next week!!

Im so sorry you had such a bad day. Good luck in getting that job. I know how hard it is. My hubby is bieng unempolyed a year now. Im recieving ssd so that it what keep us surviving, but is very hard cause I dont get that much money. I hope tomorrow is a better day.

I always find myself thinking it could be worse. When I bark, :teethysmi it always gets worse. Sometimes I just laugh.

So sorry you had a bad day. Its hard when you want to work for a goal and you are set back. I'm not sure if this is a recent post or not. Why not sell insurance? You can be self employed. I started with AFLAC, some money is better than none. You either make a ton of money or no money.
