I am going to send a donation to help the poor baby. I am very very saddened by what some horrible (not a strong enough word but can't say what I really want to say) person did to her. I want you to know that I will help in anyway I can to you or any person on YT that gets her. I hope that you are able to adopt her what a sweet face. |
Omg that poor baby, she just makes me cry. How can anyone do that to a dog? |

Im really glad you posted her because this will probobly help get her the donations she needs for her surgery. |
I just sent the shelter she is with an email asking if she would be up for adoption after her surgery, and if you could adopt her from a diffrent state. I am in love with this little girl. |

I think I did read on their site that they are open to out of state adoptions. But I'm a "with kids, and without fence" family, so I don't know how viable I would be for the adoption. |

The only negative is having another dog, but I don't think that would matter, it doesn't say no other pets. So I hope they would allow someone to adopt her with another dog. |

No email yet. I'm still waiting. I want this little girl so bad. And my parents felt so bad for her they agreed. Normally it is a "dad I'm getting a girl puppy" replied with a "are you getting an apartment too?". Lol, but this little girl needs a good home. And she would be perfect. I can have a Yorkie Maltese Mix, and a Yorkie Chi mix. |

I did just notice that the rescue added an edit to her Petfinder blurb!: "WOW...I am taken back by all the donations and luck being sent Chopper's way. My sincerest Thanks to everyone who has helped this poor little soul who is sooo very deserving." ~~~Aaaaaah, the power of YorkieTalk. ;) |
I emailed them to see about putting the info on my website to help get Chopstix more donations and they emailed me back and they were very nice. Maybe they havent had a chance to look over any adoption applications yet. I have really fallen in love with chopstix and my heart goes out to her. I hope her legs can recover and she find a wonderful forever home that will pamper her for the rest of her life! |
Wow. I'm so happy that so many people have donated for her. She deserves the best she can get. I hope the surgery will fix her legs. Either way she will be just as cute and loveable. She probably won't be adoptable for another couple of months, but I wouldn't mind waiting. |

I don't want to steal your idea, but I'd love to have a benefit week for her and send like 25% of my sales to her. |

Does Stump model the dresses as well?! :D |
I keep teasing my husband about his "new daughter", and he just keeps saying, "You better not bring that up again!"--and I can tell it's because her story got to him! ;) I could probably actually talk him into the road trip! ;) Another thing not in my favor, though, is that in addition to kids/no fence, I have a large dog and a cat! So I figure what the heck....maybe I'll apply for her, tell the truth about everything of course, and then maybe if we were approved it would be MEANT to be! Who knows! But I sure hope one of us gets her! :) |
Yep! I design it all, but I can't sew so I get it made from a factory. As for Stump modeling, yep thats him being a cross-dresser, but I've got to get good pictures sooner or later. He didn't like to pose the day I took those. Plus my dad does photography as a hobby and has a really nice camera so maybe he can get some good pics If I dress Stump up. And thats cute, I know what you mean about your husband, my dad was the same way, its normally "No" but he didn't say no this time. I hope whoever gets her gives her the love she needs. But it would be awesome for it to be a YTer that way we could see updates on her! |

Your should totally do it  I bet it would raise lots of money for chopstix  |
Alright, I've updated my website, and I've sent a message to the shelter letting them know that I am donating 25% of my Sales to Chopstix's Surgery Fund. So if you are looking for Dog Clothes, and Want to Donate then you can kill 2 birds with 1 stone! Thank you in advance to anyone who buys anything for their pup. |
i know this very wrong to say but maybe the previous owner of chop sticks should have them tied up and treated like they did to her.........shame on them for ever tresting this baby to this! what heart breaking little one........ |
I tried to avoid reading her story, b/c I knew it would bother me ALL day and I would cry ALL day...But, my heart told me to read it so that I could donate to her. THAT SICK F**K Who ever did this to her, I hope they ROT in HELL  |

Could not have said it better myself!!! I'm not one for eye for an eye...But, in this case, I'd definately make an exception!!! JUST PLAIN SICK!!! |
:p Hey guys, did you see how many donations she is getting? This is great! I hope she gets tons more! The power of YTers  |
WTF is wrong with people?!?!?!?!     Some people should have not even been born  |
Another note from the rescue: Quote:

Wow sounds like lots of people want this little precious girl!! If I could I would too!! I hope someone here does get the chance to get her...it would be so cool to watch her flower into the princess she is!! Dawn |
Wow! I'm so happy for her. I've been posting about her on my myspace for my store. And I've had so many people ask where they would directly donate. I haven't had anyone buy any clothes yet, which is fine, I'd rather them donate straight to her then only 25% go to her. But either way she is getting so much. She will have this surgery in no time!! |
Update posted separately from original listing: http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/...?petid=6989633 "Chopstix' orthopedic consultation got moved up to today. Her first surgery will run between $2,000 - $2,500, which is actually much less than I was expecting. This will cover placement of the plates in both of her front legs which they will attempt to accomplish in just one surgery if Chopper tolerates the anesthesia okay. If that wasn't news enough, we need to reach this goal by Sunday, Sept. 17, which is only six days away, because they want to get her on the table by Monday, Sept. 18. So here I am again, on my hands and knees, begging for a miracle. Please, if you are reading this, just donate $1. I can check the number of times that Chopstix' page is viewed per day, and if everyone who had looked at her just last week alone had donated just $1, she would have over $1,000 already. I know that $1 doesn't seem much, but it is a "step in the right direction" for little Chopstix. THANK YOU ALL to those who have already donated, and keep checking back for more updates. Joanna K. $45, Ann H. $20, Amy S. $5 " --This is the $$$ crunch time of year for us, for multiple reasons, so I haven't donated yet. But I'm going to take to heart her "every dollar helps", and make my donation soon. LET'S MAKE THAT MIRACLE HAPPEN FOR CHOPSTIX!!!! |
Ahh!This isn't fair. I would donate soo much if I werent leaving for Vacation tomorrow. But I'm going to send in a little tonight, like he said, a little is better than none! Poor little girl. I hope her surgery goes great. |
