I just received my heat press!! Woo Hoo!!
 
I just received my heat press today. It's the kind where you print out pictures and words on the transfer paper and then put it on your t-shirt and heat press it right onto the shirt! Okay I already did one of Cricket and Bubba and my daughter snatched it up and said it's hers now.
I'm going to use it for Christmas presents. I'm going to make t-shirts, sweatshirts for the whole family. I will of course be making gag ones too! I'm so excited! Hubby says I'm crazy.
My dad I'm going to do something like Old Guys Rock with his picture on it.
For my mother, I'm going to put Hooter's Grandmother with her picture, and I'll have to look up more.
Can you believe that the heat press only takes 8 seconds? I'm so excited! I'm going to have a whole closet of yorkie clothing LOL!!
Does anyone else have one and have any suggestions?

Ps....You DO have artistic talent - can't wait to see your new creations....

I was just sipping my drink when it flew out of my mouth when I read your response!!!! Rofl!!! Girl, you can really make me laugh!
My daughter already has some abstract drawings she wants me to scan and then press onto some shirts. Word is out of the bag though, my sister just emailed me pics of her daughter. She wants me to pick out the best one and type in the word BRAT, and on a seperate one, put DADDY'S GIRL! Darn. I got it for presents. My daughter talked to her and told her!! Well she will have to wait until Christmas! LOL

I've been doing these for about 3 years, but I have the old fashioned way!!! I use the heat transfer pages and do it with an iron!:teethysmi I've been looking for a press and can't find one. Where'd you get yours?? I sent a shirt to 'V" and one to Connie. The problem I've had is that the more you wash them, the more the stuff starts coming off! I hate it when that happens!!

I read up on these for a long time before I bought this one. It's a JP14
JetPress 14. If you use the kind of paper you can buy from the store, the stuff will start comin off. I also read that you should wash the garment and dry it first so if it shrinks, it won't affect the transfer. I got the industrial heat transfer papers. It only takes 8 seconds on the machine!
The photos of my furbabies come out great!! I'll have to get my daughter to put on one of the shirts of Cricket and Bubba I did. I really love it.

I've seen plain t-shirts for dogs on I think it was PetEdge. Oh I'm going to have fun with this. Okay, Bubba's will say"The Bug Hunter" and I'll put a funny looking picture of a bug. For Cricket, " Don't Hate Me Because I'm Beautiful" and put a crown on it!
I can put my art on t-shirts!! I still have most of my artwork in full resolution. I could put those on shirts too!!
If anyone has any more ideas, let me know. I'll do a random drawing, or ask another member not involved, and will do a t-shirt for free! Keep those ideas coming!! There are so many sights with non copyrighted things I could use!!

I LOVE MY TEE-SHIRT by SUZ !! This is a picture of the really nice Shirt Suzi did for me and the girls (sorry about the book and the plate but I was into GROUP photos that day) :p

You said it's a JP-14.......but where'd you get it? That's the problem I'm having. I don't know where to go get one. I make book bags, shirts, and just "stuff". I have FUN doing it. It's not a thing I do to make $$ or anything. I just do it. It's fun to see the look on some peoples faces when you give them things. I love it!! If you don't mind me asking, how much was the press? PM me if you want to.
