My Fascination 3 Attachment(s) I wanted to share some of my favorite pictures I have taken of my favorite bird, "The Cardinal" I love this bird so much and I really enjoy capturing it's photo, I collect anything that has a Cardinal on it and specially when I can find the Mr. and Mrs. Cardinal together, I have not been to lucky yet to carture there photo together. Did you know that the Cardinals are soul mates, they will never stray or cheat on one another and if one of them dies, they do no mate again. These birds are together, forever! |
1 Attachment(s) OMG I LOVE them too !!! :) :) :) Your pictures are WAY better than mine - I was so bummed it didnt come out clearly - but I took these last year - when I had sunflowers - the birds loved them |
Ohh Villette, thats a great picture also! I just love these birds, and I love photography, it's one of my greatest hobbies, I really want to go back to school so I can do this professionally. |

The girls love the Birdies too - good thing they can't jump 8 feet in the air cause that's about the height they were at when I shot these pics. 1-3 are Babies & Mom in her nest. 4th is what I THOUGHT was some Rare Exotic Bird   ....posted about it here - and found out it was a freakin Piegon ! LOL - Good thing YT'ers are so smart cause my plan was to try and catch him ...DUH !!! |
I do remember seeing them and just love the ones of the babies! I also remember the pigeon story! LOL that was to funny! Cardinals are so jumpy and just when I get all focused, they MOVE! They wont sit there butts still! What zoom do you use? I have the Minolta 75-300 and then my camera is the Minolta Maxiumm 5. Even with the 300 zoom it seems like it's not enough, but if I go any bigger, I'm going to have this whopping heavy zoom to carry around! |
I just have a Canon Power Shot Pro 1 - it has a really powerful Zoom on it built in - I'm no pro and wouldn't even know how to put a Zoom lens on a camera:D |
