Guys, it seems like a lot of 'regulars' are gone. Can anyone fill me in?? Or am I imagining this, maybe I haven't bumped into them yet. I'm feeling a little disorientated here, ever since I got back...so please fill me in!

Yes, it seems that way to me too. I came back (from our move) a couple weeks ago and things just aren't the same...people seem edgy and ready to get nasty at the drop of a hat....not sure I'll be sticking around too long.

You aren't imagining anything - lots are :( :( :( they're scattered around - it's so easy to start forums now - that's pretty much what's going on. I think many still read here - they just don't post as much -

This site is so huge now...it's hard to keep up with all thge new members. So...if anyone new is reading this - stick around - it's a big site but people can get to know you better if you post alot

I haven't been here long enough to be considered one of the "regulars", but too long to be a newbie. Not sure where that puts me. But...

I gotta say, I've been missing some of the regulars too. Even if I didn't always post as much as I have been lately, I enjoyed reading what was going on. Seemed like a great group and they really set the tone for this forum.

Anyway, lots of them are still here too, and new people joining every day. I for one will make an effort to keep yorkietalk a friendly place. And I hope to see the return of some much missed "faces" around here.

After all, one very much missed gentleman (and his two beautiful furboys) from the north has returned!!! :)

I recognize your name, so I think that makes you a regular. A new regular, but a regular never-the-less. At the rate the old regulars are disasppearing, you and I will soon be the OLD regulars.

Well i'm a newbie but a regular i guess i'm on 24-7 obviously!!(LOL) i love it here and i know latley it has been really catty on some threads i think there is so much going on here good and bad people are frustrated but i always try to be nice and if i see a really newbie getting singled out i always pm them to let them know there are wonderful people here and to ignore the bad seeds. I love everyone and i have learned so much here and of course we always have V to help us out we know she won't be leaving us( I hope she's here forever)!!!!

Welcome back, Thorsmomma! I have been wondering the same thing! I have been mostly reading when I get a chance due to personal things going on since May. There are a bzillion new members it seems and also lots of new forums. Also, it seems we have become a little stagnant where topics are concerned. :) I have told my age and Toto's weight for the last time ... and I'm never, ever telling what I paid for her!!

LOL i'm gonna be going through withdrawls cause my hubby is home for three days and he doesn't like me to be on the puter he wants me to spend time with him:rolleyes: Drives me nuts so i will be scarce the next few days but i will make up for it lol

Newbies do stick around I just found this site last month by accident. After Phoebe died I was looking to try and find something that may answer my questions as to what happened. I feel so fortunate that this site popped up in my search. There is alot here and an awful lot of really nice people that really care and will help at the drop of a paw! :p
Thanks to this site I have been able to find another yorkie, we are just waiting for her to get a wee bit bigger. I have seen the power of prayer on this site and opted to not ask for prayer for her to grow a little faster. I really want a yorkie, not a mini St. Bernard. :p

So stick around because only good things will come.

Wow! I have been wondering the same thing. I won't mention any names, but I haven't noticed several of the members that were all over the threads when I joined back in Dec. ('05). I thought that maybe some were too naughty and had gotten in trouble or something! Hey, you never know!!! :p
