They are here building a new home for a family that has a son with cerebral palsy and the new house will better accomodate him with his wheel chair and special needs. They tore the old house out of there, which was pretty nice to start with. What normally takes 4 months to build, this house is built in 7 days. I was up there last night and wish I'd taken my camera. The house is big and tall and only a one story home. How they'll wash those windows that are so high up is beyond me. Tomorrow the family gets to see their new home for the first time. ABC had sent them on a cruise this week while they build the house. My daughter got her picture taken with Ty Pennington...he was out one night at a night club. LOL Anyway, that's the big news from Minot. I'll have to let you know when it airs so you can watch and see the city I live in. I was thinking of going up there tomorrow when the family gets there, but I think it will be a zoo. There's going to be a huge bus parked in front of the house...then the family will come in a limo and pull up in front of the bus. Then, all the onlookers are to say..."Move that bus!" Then the bus will pull away and they'll see their beautiful new home!

Aww, I love that show! I have definitely cried at EVERY episode Ive seen and there has been a lot of those :D

I just love that show. Its so neat the difference they make in those peoples lives. They'd make a difference in my life if they want to do my house. LOL I know.... they need it more than me, but it would still be sooo nice. I love the way they decorate. Connie you need to go down and visit and try to volunteer and get on tv. That didnt sound right..... ok volunteer cause its a good thing and hope that you just maybe get on tv. LOL I'm sure that family will really appreciate what that show is doing for them. I wish I could make a big difference like that in someones life. That would be cool!

ok, who cares if its going to be a mad house down there.. go and make a sign that say... Hello YT... LOL hold it up real high that way we can all see it. Just take Maddie with you, she'll get ya to the front of the line. LOL

My daughter and I and a grandson and friend, and Maddie went up to see the house tonight and I took pictures. Paul DiMeo was there and I got a picture of him with my grandson and his friend. I wish I'd had him hold Maddie and take a pic, but I didn't think of that in time. Anyway, my daughter and I ended up volunteering tonight. Went at 11 and got sent to the ball park to paint. They are doing a makeover there too, because the lady that's getting the house started up a ball team for handicapped kids. We got there and they didn't need us so we went back and waited around till 1:30 and finally left. Anyway, we got a shirt and I am so excited about that that I even took a pic of it to show you. Hee hee Here's pics of the house...or should I say...mansion! Can you believe that's a single story home???

That's so awesome! I love that show! They came to my town & built a house 5 miles from me!! I went almost everyday & watched the progress. It was amazing & I saw Ty Pennington!! Hottie!! LOL! :D

What a house. WOw!!!!!!!!!!! I wish they had homes like this in Fl. Now you see why I am moving. I have never watched the show but now I am anxious to see it. What time and channel is it on? Thats such a nice house im sure the family will love it, and they will hopefully find it easier to accomadate for their son as i bet they have had it hard. Unfortunatley we dont get that programme here, a shame as i would love to see it! great pics by the way :)
