Diet Pills Has anyone tried any that work? That dont make you too jittery. |
i've tried almost everything.. don't take zantrex3 or whatever its called.. that made me soo freakin jittery and so nauseous i thought i was dying! If your going to be using it with diet and exercise i'd recommend Lipo6. then again i really wish diet pills still had ephedra in them :) |

Kiki - have you tried Meridia ? |
Phentermine / Adipex work great, but they do make you kind of jittery... |
how about that trim spa stuff or hydroxi or whatever thats called? |
I used Phentermine for 1 month. GREAT STUFF!!! The first day or two was really weird, but then, AWESOME!!! I shrank so much, felt great!!! BUT....the next 2 months were hell! EMOTIONAL WRECK!!! Just now am I starting to feel better and of course gained it all back and then some :D :D :D |

Trimspa is nice, BUT you have to buy the whole set in order for it to really work. the carb blocker, the diet pill itself, the water blocker.. all of it costs over 250.. and then when it runs out, you gotta buy the whole set again. Hydroxycut was nice, when it had ephedra!! lol.. i think the reason why it was banned was because of the side effects it had on people.. but i seriously think if people knew how to use it, they'd be ok.. like drink plenty, plenty, plenty of water.. i know some people who take these pills and think they don't have to exercise etc.. i've also tried xenedrine, which works just like hydroxycut, it was awesome when it had ephedra, but without it was bleh lol.. i've heard this workout called Fitness Made Simple works wonders... i've yet to order it myself, been so busy with baby.. plus my c-section wound isn't as healed yet because i'm stubborn lifting stuff im not supposed to.. so my healing is delayed and can't work out yet boo! |
I tried trimspa and its did NO good at all and you have to take like 3 huge pills everyday (the warnign label says if you dont drink a whole glass of water your esophgas can swell and you will stop breathing) after that I was like no more:thumbdown |
diet pills I used meridia for 3 months and found it helped me extremely. I started in January and have lost 45 lbs. Not only did it curb my cravings for carbs but I also found it helped with my concentration level and energy level as well. Believe me, owning a bakery is probably the worst place to work when you are trying to lose weight!! |
I know that taking any kind of diet pill is not good for anyone....However, I was thinking about that new dexatrim H2O that they have out? (I think this is what it is called). 9 years ago I lost 67 lbs with diet workshop...I kept it off for about 6 years....very, very , slowly I gained a little more than half back. I was actually too thin...People were asking me if I was sick. I have just taken off 9 1/2 lbs (don't know how this happened but, good for me!!) I would like to take off another 20-25 lbs...and I would be happy. has anyone tried this new dexatrim stuff or heard how is works... |
I'd definitely recommend Lipo 6 for all women. There are very few, if any, side effects. It pumped me up and didn't give me jitters. However, if you prefer to go natural, I recommend drinking green tea extract 45 minutes before breakfast and 45 minutes before a work out, it will get you sweating EXTRA. Also, take CLA after every meal, it supports body fat loss and has many health benefits. Don't forget to eat 5 little meals a day instead of 3 big meals! |
Also, another suggestion. It may not be for everyone, but Hydroxycut Hardcore works pretty well too. Please drink lots of water if you are taking diet pills, you need to pee A LOT! and take a multivitamin! |
Hoodia I finally bit the bullet and bought soma Hoodia H57 at GNC. Started taking it yesterday morning. I think I can see a decrease in my appetite and maybe a bit of an energy boost, but so far I'm not impressed. I mean it was $40.00 for a 10 day supply so I was hoping for more. I guess I expected to take one a day and have no appetit at all. I still get hungry before meals. |
Phentermine works great! I think you can only get it at the dr's office though. I don't know of any around me since I moved but I would like to find it again! Anyone know of any legit websites you can order it from? I lost 30lbs in 3 months & kept it off for a few years! Then I got pregnant....lol! Anyways...I just bought Hydroxycut (sp?) yesterday...gonna try it out. |
I recommend Hydroxycut without Ephedra. It helps suppress your appetite and doesn't make you jittery. |
Ephedra put me in the hospital several years ago....I'm talking a long time ago. I was passing out, didn't know what I was saying, etc. That was the only thing that could be found to have caused it! But, everyone is different, so they may take to it differently. I'm not a big diet pill person after that, but a few years back, my doctor gave my Xenical, but I don't recommend it just because it makes you go to the bathroom (#2, the bad kind) all the time and you have to be near a restroom because when the urge hits, you go! :thumbdown YUCK!!! Adipex/Phentermine worked well and did give a lot of energy, but the doctor will only allow you to be on them for so many months....Then, that is it. I heard you can get them online somewhere, but I don't know. Meridia is said to be good, with a slow, steady weight lose, but it is expensive. I think well over $100 for a bottle (which, I guess would be a month). I am almost tempted to ask my doctor for those......maybe for a month or so....just to help get over this plateau I'm at right now! Great thread.....love to hear everyone else's stories! |
I dont really agree with diet pills, however my friend took soyalicthyn (sp?) its pronnounced like SOYALISATHIN. Its a herbal pill that you take with your meal and it fills you up. She lost 2 stone over 3 months and hasn't gained ay weight since coming off them. Also with the herbal/natural remedies you get no side effects :) |

Thanks V - the doctor gave me a perscription for these several months back, but I never filled them. I don't know if he will still let me get them or not. I am just afraid of the side effects (if any), since I have had bad luck with pills! By the way.......how is your weight lose coming? Mine is on hold right now.......I need a good motivation.....my treadmill bit the dust and it is sooo hot to walk outside right now. Plus, it is killer to have to cook my healthy meal and then turn around and cook another (yummy) meal for my hubby. (he will NOT eat anything like steamed fish and vegies, etc). It can be so hard sometimes! |
