I know what you are going through. It seems like yesterday I said that, Now she is starting 7th grade. I took her to school and cried all the way home. In second grade she wanted to ride the school bus a couple of times cause I always took her to school. I remember the first time I put her on the school bus.... I followed right behind it all the way to school. She didnt know til later on... Its so hard watching our babies grow up. I now have a 2 yr old too. So I'll have to go through it all over again. Wish we could keep them small forever!!! lol:) :) |

Let those tears flow while you get your fridge cleared off and make room on your walls for all the things you'll be hangin' up now. :D You are going to have so much fun. I still have a few things my 32 y.o. made in grade school. They are such little adults at that age and they grow up too fast! Enjoy, cause once the adolescent hormones kick in, you're gonna want to bang your head against the wall - constantly. :D :D Someone once said, raising a teenager is like nailing jello to the wall. :D :D :D So true. Have a ball with your little guy and best of luck on your new job. You're gonna be fine.:p |
Awww, I bet he has the most wonderful day. ((Hugs to mommy))) My YOUNGEST started kindergarten last month (we start early here). I thought I would want to celebrate, both kids out of the house! But I cried more on that day than I did when my oldest started kindergarten. |
well, hes off and I bawled like a baby lol. kyle told me "Its alright mommy, Im still here with you" as he wiped my tears!! |
OMG i know what your going through my son started kindergarden last year and i was a wreck but it get's easier as the year goes on he is starting 1st grade on monday and thats a whole new step to. I homeschooled my youngest daughter until she was in the fourth grade then I had alot of health problems happen and decided to send her to school. On the first morning that my husband and I took her to school she started crying really hard when she knew that we were ready to leave. It was soooo hard to leave her there and I cried really hard all the way home. (I have three other kids older than her but did not homeschool them.) When I left the teacher even had tears in her eyes. Jaci cried alot that year. She would be on the playground crying and someone would say "Why is she crying?" and they would answer "Because she misses her Mom!" It was a toss up that year who cried the most Jaci or Mom. It was one of the hardest things that I've ever done. However, Jaci is a very social person and once she settled in she just loves it. She's in the 9th grade this year and I still like to think that she still misses Mom! She had the sweetest teacher her first year. She would call me every couple of days or so and tell me how Jaci was doing. At the end of the year we gave her a gift certificate to a really nice store as a remembrance of having Jaci. She's moved now but I'm sure that she'll never forget the little girl who cried. |
awe thats soo sweet. at least she got a really nice teacher. |
