Just sharing an old painting

I was looking at my pictures saved on computer and came across this one it is of a wall clock I cut out of wood and painted this for our Son,Wife and grandchildren, this was done so long ago, I never had thought painting would be something to enjoy but I sure loved doing it. Hopefully one day I will get back to it. I look at this though and see so many mistakes in it, our daughter in law keeps it up year round. I use to make a wall clock every year for them. Does anyone else do tole or decorative painting? I don't know why but my thinking is always in threes, maybe someday we will have three yorkies :) we are now in search for another playmate for Baby Blessing :) Patti

Oh how beautiful!!!! You really should get back to it, you have a lot of talent. I just love those kinds of things. Very, very nice!! :)

Thanks. I really don't recall how long it took me to do this, it was done just before I had cataract surgeries, I had difficult time seeing (thank the Lord for Cataract Correction through surgery) I have no idea what the other two looked like cause I mailed them on to our kids. That is our grandson holding the clock, he is now much older and so tall and quite a handsome lad, I tell him he looks like his Grampa, with a big :)

It is beautiful! I wish I could do something like that. And it's also something your family will pass down and treasure forever.

PS: Your grandson has such a precious face like a doll! I have to tell you the same thing people tell my son, he's too cute to be a boy! lol.

Thanks Patti, I got carried away on their freckles but at that time, I had a difficult time seeing to apply all those little dots LOL :) :) :) Thanks Cheryl000
