I don't know whether or not I believe in it. I'm inclined to, only because just as some people have eye sight and hearing, others do not. It could be another sense, so to speak. One that few people have, but something that still exists. Just as I think scientifically I have a difficult time believing that when someone dies that's it. We all have energy, where does that energy go when we are gone from this earth? Our bodies are still there... but all of that energy has to go SOMEWHERE. It's an interesting topic, for sure. :) Though I don't consider myself a believer, I don't discount it either. I'm open-minded. :) |
This is interesting. I like the psychic, Sylvia Browne. I was happy to hear her say that our dogs that have died and gone to the bridge are still with us. We just can't see them. I wonder if she's for real? |

I totally believe. I've been to a few. The last one was pretty dead on...told me I was engaged but didn't get married. That got me! But when she was talking to "the other side" at first nothing really clicked for me. I have it on tape and let my parents listen, but nothing clicked for them either. What was freaky is that I gave her a family photo (and old one) towards the end. She pointed out my Uncle Bill who passed over 2 years ago and told me she was talking to him. She then pointed out my Aunt who she said was his wife and that she's alive, has diabetes, and doesn't take care of herself eating wise. TOTALLY true! That freaked me out! :D BTW, thanks for reminding me, cuz I keep wanting to call her back for another session. She is SO good, that she is booked up to 3 months in advance and she doesn't advertise, just word of mouth. And she's only $50 for 1 hour!! But she went about 1 1/2 hours with me! |
This is the coolest thing to talk about. What I would actually LOVE to experience is a house haunting - I've seen people leave tape recorders in so-called 'haunted houses' and they have recorded REAL VOICES !! If anyone watches the TRUE show called A Haunting on Discovery Channel - you will BE a believer - Shows cant say they're true unless they really are right ? |

O.k...I've hesitated to post here because after my reply in the ghost dog thread I'm afraid you guys will think I'm a loon or something but here goes. I have very vivid dreams that come true sometimes and it's actually exciting but scarey at the same time. I've felt the 'touch' of a hand on my hand or an arm across my shoulder (it's very cold) several times but I know it's my Grandmothers so that doesn't scare me. When we had our accident a few years ago there was absolutely no reason why we should have walked out of it but I distinctly remember seeing my step-dad and grandparents holding our van as it went backwards down the ditch...Granny P. was holding Boog (he was with us then) and the other 3 were holding the back corner of the van...I looked up and they said 'not yet!'. For some reason we didn't flip over and Boog didn't have a scratch even though everything inside the van was totally destroyed...we had 1 good door when it was over! When our Rosie was missing a friend in Florida contacted a psychic for me, (not at my request though) she called me and told me what the woman looked like that had Rosie and what her house looked like and she was right. All of my grandparents are gone but last week I had a dream that I was telling my grandfather about our new log cabin on the lake, he loved to fish, and he smiled so big and said how happy he was for us...I said I had to go and I turned to open a door, my grandmother appeared behind Grandpa with her hands on his shoulders and said 'o.k. honey, we'll see you soon'. That one scared me but I hope it means that they'll be paying me a visit and not that I'll be visiting them...unless it's in a dream again! The one I get that I really don't like is...I know when someone in my family or close to me is pregnant before they do. I've been known to ask who is pregnant at family get togethers...sometimes they fess up and other times they don't even know yet. I really hate that one though...that queazy feeling ain't nice and I have a huuuuge family...this could go on forever!:sickie: |
the thing is with it you do get the good so you no your loved ones are ok and you can help people but you also get the bad, the time i heard something calling my name wasnt horrible, i was only a teenager about 15 and we or should i say i had a poltergeist, they like teenagers cos of there energy. well first of all it kept on leaving wet patches in my room, my mum was on a night so me and my 4 yorkies went to work with her and b4 i left i changed all my bed clothes so i could just come back in the morning and jump in to bed well i got back at 6:30am and pulled back the covers and in the middle of the matteress was a big wet patch but when i pulled the cover back again there was not wet patch on the duvet just in side the bed. things like that happened a few times , another time my friend i was sitting on my bed and i put the tv remote in my bedside top draw and my friend saw me do it then about 10 mins later i opened the draw and it was gone so i took everything out and still nothing so i said out loud if you dont put that back i will get the vicar in and counted to 10 and opened the draw and there it was right on top:eek: . things like that made me a bit:mad: but didnt bother me untill i was in bed and i heard something call my name in a horrible voice slowly over and over again saying sara sara sara, tye and zac screamed and ran to the bottom of the bed, sasha ran to me shaking but scampi went mad and jumped on my chest and was growling at the door, i kept trying to push him off but he wouldnt move untill it went. |
My Mom is going to see him in Houston this month. She has been looking foward to it for a while. I hope that she is not disappointed. Quote:
