me a carpet cleaner for my birthday this month...
any suggestions on what brand i should get..?. i saw at kohls. on line
on sale for, 149.00 regular 199.00.. it was a bissel.. it had reverse and forward, hand held attachments. and and attachment for floors too. also came with i believe 16 oz of cleaner and it also had 2 buckets where the dirty water goes into.... heavy duty one too..

whacha think girls?

I have the small, hand held bissell and LOVE it for small accidents. I don't know about the bigger ones though, no experience but I think I need one :)

i was gonna get the small one, but i figure i can always use the bigger one, and its for free, from mom...as usual

I have and love the Bissel pro heat....but... if you have berber forget that one as it does a rocky roll on Berber and won't work well on it. Works GREAT on regular carpet

I have the Pro Heat X2 also and love it. Those brushes really clean. I also have a Bissell steam cleaner and I love it also!!

Me too - pro heat x2 - LOVE IT! Love the ease of use and it does a great job.

Bissell Proheat X2...the cranberry colored one:p ...and I love it...it works on the ceramic tiles well too...:)

YOu can buy the Rug Doctor for your home now! I love renting the rug doctor, but I am not sure what how much they are. I want to buy one eventually.

We got a Bissel ProHeat 2 not to long ago and it works fine. Just wish it came with a little man to push it around my house......

I have the Bissell ProHeat Self-Propelled and love it. I love the fact that the solution stays separate from the water tank. I also love the hand attachment it works great on vomit, urine or other doggy messes and is totally ready to use at any time by just switching a button.

I was up late the other night and watched an infomercial on the Rug Doctor MIghty Pro, but the cheapest I could find was about $650.00, plus shipping! It does look to be pretty amazing though. I called our local Rug Doctor rental place (Albertsons, Walmarts, Lowes, Home Depot, etc.) and it was just 19.95 to rent for 24 hours or 24.99 for the wide path model. I did some quick math and found out even if I rented it every other month (doubtful) it would take almost 6 years to come up to the price (and it only has a 2 year warranty on it). So I'll rent the expensive one once a year and stick with my Bissell for accidents and in between cleanings.

I have a bissel also...it heats the water 25 degrees hotter than tap.. I love it! really cleans deep.

I rented a Rug Doctor a couple months ago and it ruined my carpet!!!!! It does not have brushes that scrub the carpet. Basically, it wets your carpet, has one thin line of brushes that vibrate over the top of it, then it sucks the water out. What it did to mine was it pulled the dirt up to the surface and it stuck in the carpet! My carpet is very light, kinda cream colored with light flecks of other colors in it. Now there are big stains everywhere!!

I have a Kirby vacuum with the shampooer. I've even gone over the stains with that and nothing is making them better. It's horrible! I really want something like the Bissell that will scrub the carpet.

We have a Bissel something...works wonderfully...it cleans up after a husband, a 5 yer old and a litter of puppies...need I say more?

Isn't it funny how some people can be so excited to get presents that other people wouldn't.:p I know one of the best presents that I ever got was a water pic and a high powered electric toothbrush. :D I would LOVE to get a new carpet cleaner too!:thumbup: :)

me and mom go overboard on presents . she was gonna buy me a tv for my bedroom, but the one i have is still good, so i told her mom i think i want
a rug cleaner,, she said ok no problem order it... no problem whatever i want.
shes the bestest.... do you know for christmas , i still get loads of presents.
around 15 or 16 , way more than my brothers,,ha ha ha.. thats what happens when your the middle child and the only girl.... and believe me, i treat her the same... its so much fun,..
