Please do your part to Stop China's Dog Massacre! I'm cross posting so that everyone can get involved. My friend Robin just sent me an e-mail urging her friends to become proactive about this subject. Here is what she wrote... I am outraged and have pledged not to buy, support, or endorse China/Chinese products. Please take a minute and write a letter and voice your outrage as well. This is 2006 and this country needs to be put on notice. These are precious animals...Please take a minute from the luxury of your comfortable home and think for one second what these dogs go thru, then get out a pen and write a letter, it takes but a couple of minutes... Thanks for listening! She included the address to the Ambassador of China in our US Embassy. I know I will be writing a letter, I hope you will too. His Excellency Zhou Wenzhong Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Embassy of the People's Republic of China 2300 Connecticut Ave. N.W. Washington, DC 20008 My friend Robin and I always discuss our inadequacies as "just one person" trying to save the animals. We constantly reassure eachother that if we can spread the word to our friends, we can make a difference, TOGETHER. THANKS YT! __________________ Shannon and Lola Larue: |
I copied this and sent it to all of my family and friends! Thanks for the address! |
Thanks! I sent it to my family and friends too! :D |
There is a lot more cruelty going on in China then just the animals for fur. If you can stomach this website you can see the inhumane treatment that is going on. http://www.peta.com/ |
Oh man Cindy - I had nights and nights of no sleep after seeing what China does to dogs.:( :( :( :( Lola LaRue...this is a great way to be heard but our country needs to stop importing that trade from China...as long as people continue to want REAL FUR - this will continue. I was shocked over that article too..... I can't believe the horrors dogs have to live thru - yet people claim to love them as part of their families. China is HORRIBLE but this country isn't much better with the puppy mills. But a small miracle is the fur trade over in our country and I would HOPE dogs were never slaughtered here - but nothing would surprise me anymore. This is especially a horrible horrible trade because the fur skinned off these poor animals is for HUMANS to enjoy and show off...   they're literally killed so someone can have a fur collar. There are so many REAL looking furs out there now - we don't need to ever buy real fur. |
