Great Idea! - Doing my part to help...puppy mills
 

I just I'd share what I am doing to help...puppy mills :(

First I've been trying to educate and learn as much as I can without becoming overwhelmed and depressed and just plain sick to my stomach regarding the abuse that is going on the USA. Which, I just am floored at. Unbelievable :eek:

Next, I am "Spreading the Word". I have created a flyer with some photos and very informative information regarding "puppy mills", along with helpful tips, like, Please DO NOT buy from Pet Stores, etc...

Also on the flyer I have asked if anyone would like to donate ($, food, toys, etc.) to please see me, because I will be making a monthly donation to specially selected animal rescue facilities.

I posted this flyer at work on the employee bulletin board and I also made a 'shortened' version that will be included in our next 'quarterly employee newsletter'.

This is a GREAT IDEA for "Spread the Word and Fundraiser" for the poor abused animals subjected to living a life in a puppy mill. Please if you are able to post a flyer at your job, take advantage of it and do it - Let's make a difference - together!!! :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

I wanted to say Thanks to all the 'wonderful' posts by all you compassionate YTers regarding the puppy mill issues. I spent A LOT of time reading them and I think that others will find the information that was posted by you very helpful and in sometimes 'life changing'. I KNOW I DID ;)

I wanted to give a special Thanks to Vilette and Cindy, you guided me in the right direction! :) :) :) Keep up the Good Work!!!!

Of course I may get Lynched doing this but oh well. I'm always causing a ruckus around here. I am smack dab in the middle of Puppymill USA.
4 Mills right in my neighborhood and I could find 20 more if I took a drive .

That's a huge thing you're doing - while we may not be able to outright stop mills - the next best thing is to tell everyone we know - and be the voice of the dogs. Even after these last years of reading ...I Still feel sick over the way dogs are treated in this country. I'm like you - I get teary and depressed and have to force myself to really read or watch a horrible video - and each one is as bad as the first one I ever saw....it's just horrible that so many people are profiting from ABUSE AND CRUELTY......Our country needs to wake up and put an end to this - but I have a feeling people just don't know this is happening.
