Chinese county massacres 50,000 dogs 1 Attachment(s) Due to three people dieing from rabies, a county in southwestern China has killed as many as 50,000 dogs in a government campaign. "Dogs being walked were taken from their owners and beaten on the spot, the newspaper said. Other killing teams entered villages at night, creating noise to get dogs barking, then honing in and beating them to death. Owners were offered 63 cents per animal to kill their dogs before the teams were sent in, the report said." That\'s sad.... All those poor dogs had to die because of a couple cases of Rabies. :( Hopefully they\'ll implement a *good* vaccination program soon so they can prevent something like this from happening again in the future! |
OMG that\'s horrid but in places like that they keep them in cages at the outside markets and at resturants for people to pick which ones they want to eat like we do lobsters! they also do it for their furs and skin them alive in both condiotions it pretty disgusting but they look at dogs and cats differently than most normal people do!why can\'t they just get their animals shots that would prevent all of this from happening! i did see on animal planet that a place like that a vet was walking the streets shooting strays and wandering dogs with rabies blow guns to innoculate them to help stop the rabies epidemic! poor animals! |

That is so revolting! What is wrong with some humans? I can\'t imagine taking Maddie for a walk and having some crazy person start beating her! If I was living over there, I\'d take Maddie and go into hiding! Those poor dogs...makes me sick the way they treat animals there! |
