So RUDE !
 
i was walking our(me austin) normal walk to the beach he was in his stroller we pass some lady sitting in her car parked she say OMG and started laughing at him i just kept walking but she was laughing so hard & loud like austin said a joke even after a block away i still heard her !! if she was standing she would be rolling of the floor
its not that funny! & i always say GOd FORBIT he couldnt walk for some reason & this lady is laughing she doesnt know if theres a reason hes in there i think its very rude !
i dont mind comments or smiles or questions i get them all the time but come on theres no reason for that :mad:

I would have asked her if she had a problem and why was she laughing? Some people are just that intelligent!

a similar situation happened to me in the mall. This woman came up to me and asked "is that a child stroller or a pet stroller?" I told her it was a pet stroller and she responded "I can't believe they make those joust for dogs" rolled her eyes and walked away.

Just put it off to her ignorance! I used to get upset at my parents because they are not "animal people" God only knows how my sister and I are furbaby crazy :rolleyes: Anyway it took me along time to understand one thing about people that are not friendly or make fun of people that are...I hate to say this about my parents & others, but they don't have the kind of love in there hearts for animals, just remember you have a pure love...they don't, so in the long run they are the ones people should feel sorry for because they have probably have never experience unconditonal Love.....:)

There are always going to be people who don't understand how or why we feel this way toward our babies and do the things we do for them.

I have to admit I was one of the folks till Sissy came into my life!!! I doubt you'll ever meet a Yorkie owner though who doesn't completely understand.

She could have thought it was really cute and funny. Theres no reason to be pist about it, dont let it get to you; theres bigger problems! And if she was laughing as to make fun of you guys, who cares...who is she to you? I'm assuming no one important right? I wouldve forgot about it as soon as I couldn't see her anymore.

I'm with Sissy's mom - most people are clueless why we do what we do. I have to admit I was one of them until Riley came into my life. I never thought I'd could love something as much as I love him. Just feel sorry for those people who don't have what we have!

To be honest - seeing a doggie in a Stroller would make me laugh too - maybe she didn't mean to make you feel bad ? you gotta admit - these little guys getting driven around in their Jazzy wheels IS quite a site....It's both cute AND funny and maybe to a non dog lover - a little TOO funny ?

oh it is funny and cute you should have heard the laugh tho there was something about it... it was way different from the ones i usally get

maybe she finds it pointless? I love my furbabies a lot, but I wouldn't invest in a petstroller, but I wouldn't laugh at someone who does. It's just not something I feel I need. Like I said, I'm sure she's no one to you, so don't let it get to you. You're better than that.

i use to say that to until i got austin lol i always thought it was cute

i tryed not to i usally dont that laugh just got to me she sounded like the wicked witch lol

I wouldn't take it so personal...I took Sadie to the beach yesterday and she had a pink butterfly harness with matching leash, and a purple striped visor with a green ruffle trim and a satin daisy on the top....I had someone make a comment to their 2 little girls and they laughed also. I didn't take it as an insult I took it more that they thought she was cute...and....it brought attention to my furbaby....plus I made the visor!! We are all dog lovers on this site..we have to understand [which i don't!] that there are people out there that don't like animals...Us "dog people" think EVERYTHING is adorable when it comes to our babies! Me.....I am insane with my little girl:rollingey

I used my stroller for Stewie and I got one comment that stuck with me:

"Why are you pushing your dog in a stroller? Would he rather be out walking and sniffing and acting like a dog?"

and I swear I haven't used it since. I have nothing against them at all and I deifnitely don't laugh at people who use them, but I guess I kind of feel guilty about confining him.

That lady should be ashamed of herself for acting like a moron and laughing at you. I woulda kicked her car or mowed the stroller right into it :)

That's a really good point about the dog being confined. I just never wanted one because their kinda pricey, and I can spend that money on a whole bunch of clothes for him, or even better...shoes for me! LOL

well lets face it there always gonna be those people who ridicule us for spoiling our doggies. My friends make fun me all the time because I am always talking about my dogs. I would just ignore it and be thankful that we have the privelge of knowing what it is to be owned by our yorkies. I always have a come ready for when i get idiots who are rude. Like when someone asks why is your dog wearing a dress? I respond " because if she didnt have a dress on she would be naked! LMAO

I say the same thing about Rocky...he doesn't like to be naked!!!
