I finally had my baby girl ;)
 

I know a lot of members are either pregnant or had a baby, and i just so happened to be one of them! let me fill you in with everything that has happened to me!

Well as you all know I was in and out of the hospital since I was 6 months pregnant.. but was on complete bedrest when i was 7 1/2months for 2 weeks.. i was able to go home for 1 week.. but after that week, the perinatologist had confirmed my baby was still small for her gestational age and her heart was overworking and had something called tricuspid valve regurgitation (basically not all the blood is pumping where it's supposed to, and leaking back)..

So.. I was to be in the hospital on Bedrest until I delivered :eek: which really made me sad!! ok anywho! it was the longest month in my life i must say.. but in the end, I finally gave birth to a baby girl Khristianna Rae on July 5th via c-section (which really hurt afterwards!).

She's 8 days old as of today, but still hasn't been able to come home. First day she was born, she was put on a ventilator and the 2nd day she was taken off of it, because they thought she was okay enough to breathe on her own, and some of the blood tests came back with good results..

But then everything went quickly downhill from there.. she couldn't breathe at all without the tube, so they put her back on it.. and it has just been a struggle for her this past week. She had bad case of jaundice so she also was under the phototherapy light for a whole week and we weren't able to see her face.. I'm happy to say that the doctors say she's out of her "critical" stage, but not out of the woods.. they just started to feed her today which i'm really happy about that.. and she's just the most precious thing in the world to me.

This is my first child, and im so happy that she's doing better and she's here finally!! :) i don't have any pictures of her right now, because i haven't uploaded the pictures.. but i promise i'll post photo's once i get the strength to do so!

I know you've been thru alot with this pregnancy and keep your faith in your doctors ...and before you know it - she'll be home with you. All the best to you and congratulations.

Congratulations on your precious baby girl. I hope she gets stronger and stronger each day so she can come home real soon.I hope that you are feeling better too...get some much needed rest.... you are going to need it. Babies grow so fast, enjoy every second. My baby is now 16 and I don't know when all the time slipped away.

Congratulations!! I will keep you and baby in my prayers. That is a beautiful name. I hope she is home with you real soon but in the mean time take care of yourself and rest up for her homecoming!

I'm one of your YT prego buddies. She came kind of early huh?. Was everything fine until 6 months? Then they started reading her as small? I couldn't imagine coming home without my baby. My thoughts are with you. Someone once told me that they brought one of the baby blankets home and slept with it because it helped somehow. I'm sure you're there as much as you can be. Please keep us updated on your precious angel and shows us some pics. Jasmine Arrabelle just kicked so I guess that's her way to say, "hi." We'll be thinking of you and your daughter.
