Is there anybody out there that is actually involved in a good home business oppurtunity that for 1. does not cost a fortune to join and for two doesnt make you buy all these services just to be in it!.......any suggestions would be great! I run a daycare and am just looking for some extra income right now and than maybe totally get out of the dc scene. Thanks. By at home do you mean you would not be able to go to peoples homes in the evening for parties? There are 2 that I know of that are pretty lucrative....Partylite candles and Silpada sterling silver jewelry. I went to a silpada show and the most the host did was tell me how to fill out the order form..the product sells itself. Good luck!

I can't really give you specifics but I know there are ways out there. A girl I know from high school works from home I believe she sells insurance or something. She works when she wants to, which is not often. Then I saw a news clip talking about it, working from home. I know one of the biggest things people are doing now is call centers. Some companies are out sourcing their call centers over seas but many have turned to people right here that want to stay at home. I don't know how to get into either though, so I'm fairly useless. I Did Avon For A While They Were Really Nice To Me About It, I Did Really Good For Awhile, I Used To Work At A Large Gourmet Grocery Store Here, And I Would Do $300.00 Per Shipment But It Got To Wear People Didnt Pay Me, And I Couldnt Afford Eveyone Elses Bills, And Avon Didnt Do Anything To Help But Bill Me So I Stopped All Together.

I sell Mary Kay and I am not pushy at all. I dont like pushy women and honestly wouldnt know how to be one.
Mary Kay has been a great opportunity for me. Their motto is God first, family second and career third. The women are all so nice to each other and lift each other up. Always encouraging. It has been a huge blessing to me, and I have been able to help my family financially which has been something I didnt think i would ever be able to do, being a stay at home mom of a 2 year old boy.

I run a daycare thru the day. My only pronblem with MaryKay is that i dont wear makeup..HAHAHA

Hmm... Pampered Chef, Tupperware, Slumber Parties, Pure Romane (their sales requirements are more lenient than Slumber Parties), Partylite, Purse Party, Memory Works, Posh Pet Parties, Arbonne, Wine Tasting Parties...

I think the key would be to find something you enjoy doing.. That way you're always "on" when you do parties and whatnot.
