Help! Why Do I Look At The Yorkies When I Go Into The Store To Buy Baby Food? I don't know why I do it, but I do. I should just get the food and not look at the furbabies. :( There is this one male Yorkie that has been in the store for a while. I feel so bad for him. He's getting "old," he has floppy ears, and he looks to be about Baby's size (she's 10lbs). I hate to say it, but I highly doubt he's going to get sold considering he is so far from the standard. :( He's $1000 too. But, you know what the young girl said? She said that if he doesn't get sold soon, they will be giving him away...BUT, you have to prepay $250 worth of food (or something like that). I mean, I get Baby's food in there anyway. Should I keep going back? But I can't take care of another furbaby. What do I do? :( |
Nicole- You are a born nurturer and rescuer - that is why you always look at the Yorkies. If this poor guy is "given away" minus the prepaid food - maybe this is your good deed for the day. You said you get your food there anyway, so you'll just have food that lasts for quite a qhile and a dog that you can share with someone else in need. There certainly seem to be lots of them posting on YT. |
OH man - that's horrible he's had to sit in a cage with NO toys or human contact - is there a way you can find someone to take that baby out of there ? How old is he ? |
Nicole, I would go for it. You seem like an awesome mama to Baby. Maybe you could take him (since you buy food there anyway) and if it's too much to handle, place him in a wonderful home where he can be spoiled. Trust me Nicole, YOU will place him with a better family then anyone from that store. They'll just give him to any old person flashing cash. But you'll interview people and have the dog's best interest at heart. He's safer with you and has a better chance at a happy future. |
