Hey guys!! I have been waiting to tell you all this, but didn't want to drive you crazy with it if I told you too soon!! In 20 days we are going to...................Paris and Spain! I am so excited!!! We are going to Paris for 3 days and then off to Pamplona to "Run with the Bulls!" Well, I am going to watch, but hubby wants to run! :eek: We'll see! I can't wait and I promise to take lots of pics!!

Oh, and I am going to miss my baby so much!! He is staying with my mom, so I know he'll be spoiled rotten!! :)

Running with the bulls? That is dangerous business, please tell hubby to be careful!

I know!! I have a feeling or a hope at least, that he is all talk! I think he just wants to say he did it. He'll probably stand there and then jump out of the way when they come by! :p

I haven't started packing yet and I am a little worried. I know I am suppose to pack light and that is something I don't know how to do! :rolleyes:

That sounds like so much fun!!! I've always wanted to travel Europe...there's so many places over there I want to go.

As for your bbay being spoiled, I know what you mean. I went on two trips last year (unusual for me) and she stayed wth my parents both times. Talked about SPOILED when I got back. But their own dog is gone now, so when either my dog or my brother's is over there, they spoil them rotten. (no skin grandkids yet, so theyspoil the furgrandbabies)

Oooooo, how fun! I love Paris. There is so much to see - 3 days will be a short trip. I've been twice and can't wait to go back. Make sure you practice a few key phrases in French and ALWAYS ask questions in French (to the best of your ability). As long as you try, they will know you are American and will speak English. But, if you ask only in English - they will ignore you. Make sure you have at least one sandwich from a stand on the street - the baguette with cheese and tomato is to die for!!!

Oh thank you so much for the advice! Hubby speaks a little french, so hopefully we can get by. :) I do hate that we aren't spending more time there, but we are going to a couple of places in Spain. Boy are we gonna be tired after this vacation! :p

Wow I found that to be quite the opposite when I was in Paris last summer. Everyone was so willing to help us with whatever we needed but we NEVER spoke French! As a matter of fact, my husband did not think he would like France because he thought everyone would be rude. It was his favorite place to go!

Last summer we went to Rome and travelled by train acrosss Europe. It was one of the best vacations we have ever had. You will have so much fun but there is a lot to do. My advice, figure out what you REALLY want to do and do that first. We really wanted to go to the Louvre but did an abbreviated tour. We saw all the big pieces we wanted to see and then left and went to go spend the afternoon at Versailles.

Have so much fun and let us know how it is!

Wow, that is so exciting . . .I love, love, love Paris . . . there is so much to see. Just take the green tour bus that will take you to all the famous landmarks - and there is a bus running every 10 minutes on every stop . . .pretty awesome!

Try to watch Moulin Rouge . . . great show!

Make sure you bring comfy shoes . . .your'll be walking a whole lot!

Yes, definitely comfy shoes! And comfy pants! You'll probably be eating a lot too! The croissants and pastries are all so good. We ate them for breakfast, lunch, and dessert! I wish I was going with you...

I hear you guys, I have already prepared to give up my heels for a week! And I have been on a diet for 4 months, so I plan to treat myself to some goodies!! I can't wait!! :)

:p 6!! I am so excited. We leave Sunday night. I am very sad to leave my little Zeus though, especially since he has been sick. But, he is staying with my Mom and she has all the contact #s for the vet, so I am going to try and not worry too much! Yeah right! :rolleyes:
