Simon's Fish Beckham has Died
 
Well it's a sad morning at work. I brought Beckham here when I went away so Tracy (a coworker) could take care of him. They "bonded" (her words) so I let him live here. He passed away this morning.

Beckham was Simon's 2nd bday present back in September so he had a long life but OMG I'm so sad. We had a little funeral with him here at work, it ws nice of my coworkers to be so thoughtful to me even though they think I'm a bit silly.

RIP Beckham the Beta!

Hey guys, this is a sad sad occasion. Two years is a very long time -- to have loved and lost is better than to have never loved.

So long Beckham.... may you long live in the silver streams of fishy heaven.

Were Beckham's services held in the restroom by chance? Forgive me...for that remark....my sincerest condolences for Beckham's passing. I guess Beckham would be UNDER the rainbow bridge now.

You need help! And why didn't you post this in the brothers and sisters thread? Please tell Simon I am so sorry! We had a gold fish that lived for 9 years! He died this year and my son (got him in kindergarten, is now in high school) comes walking out of his room and says "well, it's the end of an era. Jaws died" so me, thinking it's just a FISH, said "oh, that's too bad, throw him away" Son was like "THROW HIM AWAY????" We ended up having a little memorial. So, is he getting a new fishy?

Poor Becks! And just days after his namesake helped England score a goal in their first World Cup match! We'll miss ya, Becks, you're the first pet of a Yorkie around these parts! ;)

Poor Simon! I had a goldfish as a child that died...pretty big ole fantail goldfish...his name was of all things, Goldie! I put him in a quart mayonnaise jar WITH water and buried him! I wonder if anybody ever found that jar!

With water....that is so funny. As children we buried a goldfish once, three days later we tried to exume his body....dug up one whole side of the yard looking for him. :eek:
