Does anyone know how iTunes works?? Ok guys, I am a little late to get on board the iPod wagon, but...... I finally got one. Anyways, I have a question about purchasing songs from iTunes. It seems that you have to purchase songs individually and it charges your card per song. Is there anyway to build a playlist and just have one charge on the card?? Thanks guys!! :) |
I use itunes but I've only ever purchased one at a time. I honestly don't know if you can put together a playlist. Let me know if you find out :) |
i don't think you can do that. oh one thing i don't like about itunes is that you can only play the songs you download on itunes and your ipod. they don't work on other programs and you can't burn them to a cd disc which sucks. so i usually don't use it unless i get a free song |

I burn CD's all the time from itunes but I have a MAC so maybe that is the difference. I have done that and downloaded them to my PC at work without any trouble. |

lol ok. well i couldn't do something with it that i wanted to. i don't remember what, but i don't really use it too much anymore unless i'm transfering songs to my ipod. as for the car, i have the icar adapter that plays with a radio station and can be plugged in to charge while the car is on. I also have the travel speakers that come in a hard case. when at home and connected with an ac adapter it too can charge the ipod |

No you have to purchase individually unless you are ordering a whole album. |

I also burn CD's from my Itunes and I have a Dell. In order to burn CD's you need to have a CD writer - be in your playlist, Checkmark the songs you wish to burn and then click the CD icon in the upper right corner. |
You can purchase an Itunes card for a set amount and charge against that...your account balance is decreased until you reach the limit on the card. This is what we do with my dd...... |
My son has an Ipod. We get giftcards from Circut City or Best Buy for Itunes. This way once you enter your giftcard number it just subtracts from the total.. Just one Credit card purchase. Plus with the kids they know they have a limit of how much they can purchase. |

You can find them on Ebay or any store that sells iPod's. |
I'm also a Mac user but I can put all the songs I want into a "shopping cart" and down load then all at once. Also, there is a radio adapter you can buy, so you can play your iPod in the car: http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPL...=iPodinyourCar |
BTW did you know you can use your iPod to transfer files? Just use it like a flash drive and you can take just about any file to any computer! It's great! |
Thank you all for helping me out with this. Can't believe I am so behind on technology! I think I am going to purchase one of those cards so I don't have to use my credit card. And....I might even take the plunge and get the device so that I can listen in the car! Oh, I am so excited! Ok, I'm a dork! :p |
