My adventure....
 

So when I got home last night, I did the ususal, let the dogs out and started to water my flowers and all that good stuff. Ray got home to, and he started doing his usual! So we were all outside, and we saw our neighbors coming home from their walk, but they have this cute little white dog with them! I was soo excited, cuz I knew they were loking for a dog to adopt, but not a puppy! So I was like YYAYAY---you guys got a doggie!!!! ANd they said NO! She just followed us home. :eek: So I asked them if they tried to see if any of the houses had a dog missing by asking around and all that good stuff. And of course...NO! I can't believe they just went into their house and shut the garage door....they didn't care that this poor dog was lost. So of course, I couldn't just let her roam free....Poor little thing could have been hit by a car or something... SO I took my dogs in the house, they were going crazy.

So I called it over, and it came right to me.....she was either a maltese or a very light shi tzu. And she was very nice. She just had a fresh haircut and didn't look hungry, so I knew she had to belong to someone....we went driving around and asking people if they had seen this dog before, and everyone said no....:( . So we went back home. I gave her some water, and in the meantime, I tried calling Animal Welfare, Animal Charity, somewhere for this baby to go. I couldn't find any place that was open.

So my other neighbor came out and asked me too, if I had gotten another one!! LMAO! Told her the story. So she and I and her 2 kids went looking for the owners one more time! So we walked about 2 neighborhoods over....and went down this one street....and there were a bunch of kids out playing. The one kid yelled...MOCHA!!!!!!! We were in the right area! Phew! So we did find the house....the dog ran as fast as she could to the house!!!! So we went up and saw that she was in the house, but no one came out. If it were me who lost of my babies, I would have gone out to thank them and be so grateful. (ANd I have a dog tag on all my babies...) So then the kids came to the door and just looked at us, then shut the door. OMG.....:eek: I didn't know what the heck...I should have gone up to the door and said something to the owners for being irresponsible....but I didn't.

And then we found out, that this wasn't the 1st time, or the even the 2nd time.. GRRRR.....How can people be so irresponsible??????:mad: :mad:

OMG.. I probably would have gone over and knocked on their door... and asked for confirmation it was their dog..... how did you know this has happened before????? Some people......:mad:

Awww poor little girl. She could have been stolen or worse ... hit by a car! :(

I would be SICK TO MY STOMACH if one of my babies got lost.

One of the little kids said she always gets lost.....UGH.....But she always finds her way home....:( The kid was like...Poor Mocha....I wanted to cry...

I almost did want to go back and get it, and tell them if they don't care that thier dogs gets loose, then why have her.
But when we turned down that road, her tail did go up and she just perked up! Like she knew where she was. And Like I said, she took off running....and ran right up that driveway, and it ws all the down the end of the street!

Yea...I know....isn't that how most of us would be! I would be very sick and balling my eyes out...just thinking about one of mine being gone missing, makes me about to cry.

Sounds like you had quite a long evening! I cant believe that they didnt even thank you or anything! How rude and irresponisible! I would have been very upset!
