Waxing is the best for the bikini. Get yourself a nice brazilian wax (they wax off EVERYTHING) and you won't have to worry about razor bumps.:D |
sorry girls, i mean on the bikini area...... i heard after you shave put some under arm deoderant there and it will stop it.. well i did and it stoppe , for a day , they them all came out to play |
from Goaskalice.com People can help prevent razor bumps and barber's rash by: using warm water to soften the skin and hairs before shaving; shaving right after a shower. applying shaving cream, foam, or soap in the opposite direction of hair growth (usually upward), moisturizing your skin as well as hair. shaving the easier areas first: the jawline, cheeks, and neck. shaving in the direction of hair growth (usually downward). not stretching your skin taut. rinsing your razor thoroughly after each use and replacing your blades every week or more often if necessary. Shaving in the opposite direction of hair growth and stretching the skin taut are two methods of getting the closest shave, which unfortunately increase the likelihood of razor bumps and barber's rash. These techniques, as well as using razors with two or three blades, attempt to cut the hair underneath the actual skin line, inadvertently making it easier for those hairs to then poke back into the skin. Using an electric razor gently against the skin is another option to help prevent razor bumps or barber's rash. |
I hated shaving! so i've been waxing.. getting a brazilian wax.. Like Nobella said, they wax EVERYTHING ;) it doesn't hurt.. (well just the very first time i did it).. and the hair grows back thinner and not irratating as when you shave it ;) maybe that'll help with the those. i don't get them anymore. |
I use tend skin it's sold at Sephora, and other cosmetic salons. It works great and cost about $20 a bottle. Men and women can use it. |

NO MORE LITTLE RED BUMPS Here's how to remove pubic hair safely. Scrub it. "Before you shave, scrub your bikini-line area with an antibacterial soap such as Zest, Coast, Dial, Lever 2000 or Safeguard, says Dr. Vidimos. That will reduce the amount of bacteria on your skin. Scrub again. When you've finished shaving, rinse off the shaving foam or gel, then use a washcloth to once again scrub your entire bikini area with an antibacterial soap, says Dr. Vidimos. Doing so removes some of the bacteria left after shaving. Pat the area dry with a clean, dry towel. Wash twice a day. If, despite using the correct technique, you develop a bumpy rash, Dr. Vidimos advises using the antibacterial soap to thoroughly wash the area twice a day. Apply an astringent. After you wash, dab an over-the-counter astringent such as Phisoderm on the affected area, suggests Dr. Vidimos. Dab on some cortisone. Pick up an over-the-counter hydrocortisone preparation such as Cortaid and smooth it over the affected area according to package directions, says Dr. Vidimos. It will soothe any irritation and help it heal. |
yeah but a brazilian wax , you gotta let the hair grow back before you wax again and thats gross looking especially if you live at the beach.. |
Shaving the Bikini Area When shaving the bikini you can prevent all those red nasty looking bumps. Immediately after shaving the area rub on some hydrocortisone cream. It only cost a dollar or two. This will prevent the bumps from appearing. You can also use the cream to prevent bumps under your arms if you wish |
wow cindy that sound interesting,, will try that.... and its not like a use a crappy razor either.. i do use mach 3 .... |
