I liked Taylor from the moment I saw him on the try out show! Simon did not like him but Randy and Paula saw what he did not see. I am so happy Taylor won. He has worked so hard all of his life for this break and tonight he got it! Our Alabama Boy brought it home! I can't wait to see what his career holds for him. Now don't get me wrong, I liked Chris as well. I really thought it would come down to Chris and Taylor in the final...Chris was wronged...not sure how it happened but it was really bad when Chris got voted off.

I am soooo happy that Taylor won!!!! Chris was excellent however, I don't think he was exactly Idol material. He is a rocker..He already has an offer from a very well known rock band. As for Katherine....I thought most nights she did great, over the rainbow was awesome but, she was in the bottom 3 a couple of times...right? Taylor never was. Taylor is a great singer as well as entertaining..I feel most of the Idols that were on last night will end up with record deals....

I wish Chris would have been the winner, but I'm glad it was Taylor who one, did you see his face after he realized it was him, he looked at Kat and was like, crap, you didnt win, sorry and then hugged her, but I think she was happy for him, but no matter what, she still will get a recording contract.

I seen Carrie and she looked so beautiful. I was so proud of her, almost felt like she was one of my own up there.The wasy I was beaming! She will go far,Im sure. I have her cd in my car and I listen to it over and over.
Katherine is beautiful, and too me just as talented. She will make it also.
But Taylor for me... when he sings I smile!

I wanted Katherine to win because I love her voice ... she can sing anything. Don't get me wrong, I like Taylor ... he's funny and entertaining. But he reminds me of an Elvis wanna-be in Vegas. :)

Either way, Katherine still has a great career ahead of her. Some lucky music producer out there will definitely snatch her up! She's talented!

I'm so disappointed :( America let me down. I wasn\'t prepared to have a circus clown who clearly is NOT 29 be the American Idol. Oh well, I know Kat will get snatched up and maybe it\'s better that the better talent won\'t be as tied down :p

A circus clown, really? I love his style. New and fresh. My niece was gray like him at 26, I think he is 29, I\'m sure his age is legit.

I just think he\'s a good wedding singer with his antics and entertainment but I didn\'t really think of him as an American Idol, you know? It\'s not just his gray hair but he just loooooks a lot older. I just don\'t like him :mad: lol...I think Kat would have been perfect for the part because she\'s diverse, but they are going to have to work hard to find his niche.

Taylor sings to your soul.... My husband cried when he sang that last song on Tues.... And hubby is no sap! My Gen Contractor.... Big Bad Builder Husband! Was mush! It was awesome... America is not just little girls, and screaming teens! The public watching that show is getting older and older!!! Taylor sings to your soul, no matter what your age... That last song had a bit of Bryan Adams in it, don\'t ya think??? Boy was I IN LOVE with him when I was younger!!! I also was stupid enough to think that I could grow up and marry Elton John.... Yeah... I figured that one out in high school thank you very much! It was not the look, it was his voice that I feel in love with!!

And lets all think way back to how ridiculous people thought Elvis looked at first.... Nobody is laughing now....

Anybody here like R.E.M. ??? You should see Michael, their lead singer, spasm and lurch when he sings, he makes taylor look almost still.....

And I can\'t even tell you how many times I made fun of Stevie Wonder... I even saw him live a few times as a child.... "I "wonder" who picked out that purple suit!" We would sway and jerk our heads back and fourth like worms while we tried to sing his songs... and then we would fall to the floor laughing! The man is brilliant! But thank god for the invention of the head set microphone!!! Early performances were really funny!!! In and out on the vocals when he really got jamming!!

Grey hair??? What female in America does not have a little bit of a daddy complex??? Grey hair is sexy! He wears it well!!! Only 29! We have years of Hicks to come!! Whoh! I can hardly wait!

The circus is coming to town?? Well, it\'ll be a sold out show!!! Taylor the Big Top Performer Is Big time!!!
