I'm writing a book..
 
Some of you know me, some don't. I have been in yorkies for 11 yrs now. My friend since the age of 12 also shares in my passion and hobby. We have so many experiences to share. We have been through truly happy times, and some sad. We have teamed together to put our experiences in writing. I also have many dear friends who are also experienced in our breed new and old that I hope to share in this endeavor. We hope to write a book and have it published; specifically yorkies. This will be a long and drawn out process as we are working with a writer and publisher at this time. We would also like to include a chapter about pet owners and their stories. All of you on yorkie talk could be a huge asset to our book. We hope to interview any of you who are willing to contribute. I'll be happy to help also. I have to Yorkie babies. Rhapsody is 5 months, and Tiger is 4 months old.

Also wanted to say that credit will be given where credit is deserved and any of you who may contribute will be mentioned unless you'd rather not.

We have pages and pages of stuff now to start weeding through and hours of proof reading along with researching and obtaining permission to print specific things. In the end, we hope to make an informative and fun book for people to enjoy.

Yorkie talk (and a few other web sites) has been a contributing factor in my desire to write. I have seen so many stories. Happy ones that made me smile. Sad ones that made me cry. Some of you have cried with me when things were falling apart for me and my heart was breaking. Along with all that I've witnessed and my own personal experiences I feel that I can only do a good thing for future yorkie owners and breeders.

That sounds like a wonderful idea for a book. I have had 4 yorkies starting back in 1970 and they all were special in there own way.
