Heather I love it!! Great tat. My best friend's name is Faith and she has always wanted that tattoo. I myself am all inked up, get ready for the addiction, it can be as bad as YT lol. I have 6 tatts in places we won't speak of.

I have debated on a tattoo as well, where my husband works, they dont allow him to wear his wedding ring, so i told him he was going to get my name tattoo'd on his ring finger, he agree'd, but said I had to have his name tattoo'd on my ring finger as well, I said, I WEAR my ring! But I'm scared it will hurt! I'm a big baby, so did it hurt to bad??

That's a great tattoo! I love it!

I remember I had thought about getting a tat for the LONGEST TIME. Finally, after three years of sitting on it, thinking about it, I got one.

I have it on my buttock. :D :D A little red heart.

Im not going to lie. It did hurt when he was doing the outline. Not so much when he was filling it in. But it was fast and well worth it! I would do it again! I am already thinking of adding something else! But it took me 3 years to pick this out. So It may take me another three to decide what else to get! LOL!

Glad to hear that it did not hurt that bad, it looks awesome.... I'm with the big group who has always wanted one but too chicken to get one.

The guy that did mine was really good! He was a really nice guy. I brought in a pic of the one that I wanted and he looked it up in the data base to make sure that was the correct meaning.

LOL! Why do I feel like I'm in the third grade again??

Okay, I'll show mine. If you really want to see it, it's nothing special, just a peace sign on my shoulder, that's been there for 20 years, they get a little blurry after that much time, but hey, why not!!

I can't show mine ....I just wanted to see YOURS :D .....(let's say mine is NOT on my shoulder) ....but I have no shame and figured I'd ask outright...can't blame a girl for trying right ?

Groovy on the peace sign. :p and you're right - they DO get blurry - I've had mine for 30 years now ? WOW - I just showed my age.:(

My brother has a black panther on his shoulder - he just added tall grass a month ago - and it really looks outstanding - made me want to get another tattoo myself when I saw it.

Yikes! I just took a picture of it and it looks terrible! All faded and blurry, I changed my mind on posting it. I have been thinking about getting it removed and that just moved it up on the priority list. :eek:

My tattoo is 26 years old. I love watching Miami Ink and would love for Chris Garver to get ahold of my tattoo and re-do it!!! I was done in Montrose (Houston)...Villette, I am sure you know where that is! I used to work at a restaurant & bar down there called Elmer Gantry's in the early 80's...the building was a de-sanctified church and next door was a tattoo shop. The guys that worked there came over to drink every day and convinced me that I needed a tattoo...LOL After many beers and many shots of tequila, I saw things their way! I have gone thru bouts of wanting to get it removed, but now I think I would just like to get it re-done! It is on my right shoulder...not a hidden place at all. I used to be ashamed of it...not anymore tho...It is part of me now!

Heather I love your new tattoo...so cool!

HOW COOL ! I LOVE Montrose ! For anyone who doesn't know - Montrose is Houstons answer to San Fransisco ...and it's such an interesting part of town - I used to hang out there every weekend....Did you ever go to Cody's Nightclub ? The Mirror Bar ? (now THAT was an interesting place - NO sign on the door - you had to know where it was to find it) and I LOVE ALL THE TATOO Parlors there.....I got my 1st 2 on Long Island Iced Teas - talk about feeling NO pain !

And Kirby's dad - you can get your tat enhanced - they can work wonders with what you already have ....
