I also get a gift subscription to Taste of Home from my mom which always has great tried and true recipes. (She used to get me Southern Living but after I moved North it would make me too homesick, so I asked her to stop sending it.)

I used to get subscriptions to Vanity Fair, Time, Newsweek and Oprah but I never had time to read them, so I've just stuck with my trusty People. I still pick up Vanity Fair and Oprah on occasion...

I like People(got to stay up to date on celebrity gossip and fashions), Carribean Travel, National Geographic, Archaelogy, and Hollywood Dog- quite a variety but those are the mags that I like.

The only magazine I get now is.. Moderdog, it's good, but for really MINDLESS entertainment I suggest the smut tabloids.

K, congrats on being gradumacated!!! For good mindless reading we have: US magazine, Life & Style, OK magazine, what else??? For fashiony stuff, there is Vogue and InStyle. I also really love Real Simple.

family circle

they are all interesting to read

I'm too cheap to subscribe to People, so my boss brings hers in after she reads it! Hey Sherry Lynn, if you stop and think what that magazine has cost for the last 20 years, you could have bought another yorkie!

I subscribe to New Yorker (it was a gift) and Games, but that is way too much thinking for a recent graduate! Go with Star, US, People, totally mindless! And People will tell you what movies to watch and tv shows to watch or all of your free time now.

LOL...that is the same reason I like People...I do the Puzzler first then read it!
I also get Woman's World.

SL...if Southern Living made you homesick, I guess you don't want my copies of Greenville Magazine. Not sure how I got on the mailing list for it but I like it.

Holy Crap! I can't imagine.. Herve Villachez... RIP, I can't even believe he was in there... I use to get that too for 2 years,, then sold old ones at a yard sale, it was the best selling item there!:D

I subscribe to InStyle and Real Simple. And usually end up picking up People at the grocery store... I should just break down and subscribe to that one too.
