Bird Flu in theUK Yes it is here, well at least that has given us all something else to worry bout!!! |
Have they isolated it in birds/fowls? I'm assuming not in humans yet - correct???? Bird flu in humans is VERY VERY serious - have a chat with any medical personnel working in public health and their "take" on bird flu in humans will curl your hair. It's a very very very serious health threat that we will all have to deal with sooner or later, I'm afraid. |
wow thats gotta be scary! i hope you all are okay and this passes. i dont know much on the subject except it is very popular in the media and very dangerous. |
My mums vet has told her to keep her cat in if it comes closer as she is a real mouse and bird killer! |
Bird Flu They have said that it is not the strain that kills humans, but i wonder how long it will take do develop into it...Yes it has been waiting to arrive for a while now, and we have been waiting. I do have cats, put i have them in a big pen in the garden, so they dont wander off...they can only watch the birds in the trees, they have no chance of getting out and gettin one...Well i guess time will tell....but it is very serious, i know that many people have already dies in Asia....this is one thing that we cant get a jab against... |
