Look at this the momma bird is a morning dove she has made a nest in my flower hanger on the back deck of my house , I walked out on the deck and didnt know she had done this got the camera and took a few shots ,after i recovered from my heart attack haha The flower is just from me playing photgrapher . :hearts33:

We have a nest in a hanging fern, neighbor next door has one in a wreath ON her front door, and another neighbor has a hanging candle globe outside that momma robin's set up housekeeping in ;)

AWWW Kim make me blush ..but thank you ,Iam trying to get a shot of mom bird but i dont want to scare her .hehe I'll just have to stalk her for that perfect moment . :daisy: :thankyou2 :blush08:

I HAVE that SAME planter in the front of my house - I got to go check it out !!

Last year - I had the pleasure of watching a mom and dad build their nest ...lay the eggs and hatch them - I never got a shot of the eggs... but THIS is what you can expect -

they were fascinating...and I was really able to get close to take these pictures ....I would walk up quietly and make a little clicking noise... and they'd come shooting up ...I guess they thought I was Mom Bird ready to feed them

Thats such a cool pic , i hope to get at least one pic of the baby ..dunno tho .The sweet part of it all is When my mom ..who died on Mothers day about 4years ago when she died it was raining like crazy with thunder and lightening anyways it was a horrible long ordeal and she had been in transition for a few days the morning she died I woke up to a big clap of thunder and knew she was gone only seconds later the phone rang my big brother calling me to tell me she had passed . So I get dressed fast and head out ..to be with the family as i get ready to go out i look outside and in the pouring rain sits a morning Dove I swear it was like a sign a peace beyond my understanding came over me and to this day on any occasion that is meaningful a dove appears ..So befitting my 50th birthday ..I saw the dove ..My mom is forever with me .. this I am sure of .
