lotion licker when i get out of the shower and apply my lotion romeo goes nuts and wants to lick it. i switched to burt's bees and all natural lotion so he doesn't get sick. i tell him to stop , but he still sneaks a lick. he thinks it's a game. is this strange behavior? do you have a secret licker too? :Puppy2: |
Aggie licks my toes when I step out of the shower too! She'll head into the shower and starts licking the water droplets around the tub. I think it's such a weird behavior! After all, there ARE two bowls of clean, fresh water for her in the house. Are all Yorkies like this?? :confused: :confused: :confused: |
Yup! I apply Jergens on my hands before I go to bed, and Baby licks it off. :confused: |

too weird - Dave and I were discussing this last night. Punkin loves my lotion, especially the coconut stuff. I can't see how it tastes good. She comes running when she hears the cap snap open. |
Pippa licks my legs when ive got outta the shower, think maybe its a motherly instinct :rolleyes: drying the one you love as she doesnt do it to anyone else in the family. |

Simon is a lotion licker too! He loves it, he waits for me to get out of the shower, most of the time he's sitting on top of the toilet waiting for me :) cracks me up everytime! |
Cali always waits for me to get out of the shower and starts licking my legs, if there's lotion all the better. |
Smudger does this everytime I put my passionfruit body cream on from the body shop. It smells lovely though and if I didn't know any better I think I would lick it off as well ;) |
Oh my gosh! I thought this was a Lola phenomenon. :) I put Jergens Skin Smoothing Cream all over every time I get out of the shower. Lola smells it and starts licking my legs. I try to stop her, but she loves to sit on my lap when I am doing make up and she can' help herself! :) |
One of my Shelties loves lotion! (Just remember DON"T USE COCOA BUTTER!) The Yorks have their own quirks! I have one of those shower doors that go all the way to the floor, and the shower head is one of those that you can hold in your hand. Well... Dublin and Widget sit outside the door until I crack it open and spray the water towards them. They like to drink it like it's from a water fountain. They're too darn cute! |
Sissy does that too. I recently began using a new spray with carnation oil in it and she smells but won't lick that - must not like that taste! |
