I'm having Puppies!
 

I'm whelping Puppies for my Grandmother in a couple of weeks! She has just moved and cannot have this litter in her new place :( She is not even supposed to have a dog! Senior living! No Pets! It will be her last Chi litter... So I agreed to whelp and raise the litter in my home. In exchange for pick that is! :p I'm no dummy!! :D

I'll also advertise and sell the litter for her... Shes 73 now! But sharp as can be!

She'll be fixing Cookie after this litter.. Bummer too, she makes the cutest pups! And she is only 3 years old... Her pups average between 1.5 and 2.5 pounds full grown. She is 4 lbs. Its the combination of her and Dicky, a 2 lb stud, They make the smallest pups! Its insane!!! You've never seen such little dogs! Yikes! I don't know that I could have a dog that tiny! I would worry non stop!

Anyway.. It will be fun to have Pups in the house!!! She's a grest momma! She has 5 or 6 in her litters so there will be lots of wet noses! I's such a sucker for the wet nose!

Only bummer is... the girls will have to take a break from their trips to the dog park... I can't take any chances that they might bring anything home on their feet! But its only a few weeks... they'll manage!!

Wow...how exciting! Are you going to keep the pick of the litter? Will your granndmother be able to take Cookie back home with her...probably have to keep her hidden? I hope that works out! Good luck with your upcoming litter! That is going to be such fun and best wishes to you that all goes well!

Fun indeed! She is such a great momma!! She has never needed a single ounce of assistance while whelping... I'll just be there to capture it on film! :p

I don't know if she is going to keep her?? She has one of her pups from her second litter... Baby Doll is her name... She's 1 pound 12 ozs... Tiny huh? my mom has one even smaller from her last litter! Crazy tiny! That one she can hide in her purse if she needs to! :eek: But their momma.. Cookie.. she is 4lbs.. A bit bigger and not as easy to conceal. She keeps saying she's going to fix her and keep her... but we all know she cant keep her... ??? who knows... she has a while to figure that one out...

As for my Pick Puppy.... Nooooo I can't keep her... I have two wonderful girls who would start a riot if I did! :D I'll sell her I'm sure, Its the only way I can justify doing this with my husband... He thinks I am nuts... Puppy poop, pee, people coming to see and buy puppies... He thinks that I should have made my mom do it... WHAT?? I am going to have so much fun doing it!! Don't get me wrong... I have done Litters before.. Its a LOT OF HARD WORK! But its so worth the wet noses! :p And At the prices she gets for her Chi's... It'll be more than worth it...

Who knows... Maybe I'll keep Cookie??????? Hmmmmmmm.... Now there's a thought.... My mom does own the Stud that they breed her with...... She does play well with my girls! hmmmmmmm......
